New here, would like to write something when I get a bit of free time. Had a couple plot bunnies that could probably use some work.
First idea would be for Warcraft, inspired by Halt's The King is Dead. After the Lich King's defeat and death and the hands of the Heroes of Azeroth, Arthas Menethil reawakens, alive and ensouled once again, in his body at the start of Warcraft III. Arthas, horrified by his future self's actions, at first resolves to rigidly follow Uther's advice, lest he stray onto the path to damnation. But at Stratholme it all falls apart, and what had initially been a minor issue begins rapidly spiraling out of control. In order to save their people, Arthas and Jaina will have to face not only orcs, undead, and their demonic masters, but also the decadence and weakness that has spread throughout the Kingdoms of the Alliance and a sinister conspiracy festering inside them.
Second idea is for Worm, and might be hard to pull off not to mention a bit controversial, but basically, SI into Max Anders at the start of Worm canon. The SI wouldn't know when in the timeline he is until Lung's capture, and unfortunately, our SI can't just duck and run with some money and Medhall shares. He knows that by this point, Coil has his and most of the Empire's secret identities, and running away before Coil pulls that trigger is going to mean almost a quarter of the Brockton Bay cape population come gunning for his head. This thrusts the SI into a life-or-death struggle for control of Brockton Bay, upon the backdrop of the impending disaster that is the rest of Worm canon.
