Yeah, I saw this on Tim Pool's feed.
The fact they need to do this just shows how popular the "most popular President in recent history" actually is.
People hate him. People hate Kamala. People, except NPC drones, hate the Democrats.
America is very close to its own French Revolution, and to be honest... I think you guys need it. The lunatics are running the asylum.
Disney I don't think cares. They are one of the biggest companies in the worldI've also heard people saying they're doing it to protect this or that major corporation who's videos are getting massive amounts of dislikes. Disney in particular is a popular assumption, considering how badly they've been lambasted ever since that whole Gina Carano fiasco.
Never underestimate the pettiness of the upper echelons of society. Besides, It wouldn't be the first time they've gotten a platform to censor criticism of their products; and while they are one of the biggest, they're kinda strapped for cash right now.Disney I don't think cares. No one is arguing they won't.Disney will be fine
In any event, the elites across the board have reason to be interested in making it so that the average person can no longer make their voices heard, and this seems to be just another step along that path.
I think you might be underselling the death toll; because when it happens, it's probably going to spark another world war. One in which I suspect nukes will be utilized.any one who knows history knows that is an incredibly bad idea.
Average people making their voices heard gives you useful feed back and acts as a release valve.
If you silence them you no longer have that feed back so you become unable to course correct if you do something thats a major fuck up and with out the release valve you suddenly have more and more resentment building up until you get an orgy of violence.
Unfortantly for us this is a problem thats affecting the whole of western civilization, it will end but its going to take around 80 years and millions of people will be murdered.
I dint thunk nukesvwill be usedI think you might be underselling the death toll; because when it happens, it's probably going to spark another world war. One in which I suspect nukes will be utilized.
If they aren't, it'll still probably be the closest they've gotten to getting used since the cold war.I dint thunk nukesvwill be used
I think youtube will eventually lose its place as the "main site", as of late I find myself on it less and less as things are banned/removed or things I am not interested in populate the side bar.

This is something a few personalities have been commenting on for two or three years now. YouTube was not a profitable purchase for Google and even the increasing ad cancer isn't helping much. As such you're seeing YouTube push more and more of their paid stuff, trying to become a type of Netflix style service. While more profitable for Google that kind of bullcrap is a death knell for open content posting which is what made YouTube the brand name for video hosting.I think youtube will eventually lose its place as the "main site", as of late I find myself on it less and less as things are banned/removed or things I am not interested in populate the side bar.
I never even made a login and many videos are blocked to me so even less reason to see whats there.
Instead of being "The place" it will simply be "A place"
It's not really the downvote removal itself that is the issue, but next will be non youtube curated comments are not allowed etc etc etc. I literally do not watch videos if comments are not enabled. They are the best parts.
YouTube is not going to fade overnight, but steadily and by degrees there will be more and more content cross-posted or just offloaded onto alternative platforms. YouTube will still be the 800 lb gorilla for a long, long time, but we'll see a steady deflation in its numbers as sites like BitChute get better and better at doing the job YouTube used to do. MySpace is still around and has several hundred thousand users, but its not relevant anymore. So too will fade Facebook, Twitter, and eventfully YouTube. The assumption of permanence is a mistake humanity has made a million times before now and will make a million times after this. I really do think we're seeing the highwater mark of this generation of Big Tech.I don't see another site replacing/usurping Youtube's role as the go-to place for video content.
Nobody goes to Bitchute to watch a podcast on JRPGs, or Townsends' livestreams, or watch Shad talk about the medieval period. Normies aren't on Bitchute. Bitchute is, and probably always will be, a backup site for vocal content creators in case they get purged from Youtube. Only their most hardcore fans will follow them to Bitchute. That's not how you get normies to switch over from Youtube. It's like Twitter; sure you have alternative sites like Gab or Minds, but normies aren't on those platforms. Their friends aren't on those platforms. The people on Gab and Minds don't talk about stuff normies are interested in. Twitter is where their friends are and where people talk about anything, so normies will hang out on Twitter.
And besides, the big tech corporate hegemony will keep any alternative sites from getting too big, be it with Amazon terminating website server hosting services, or Google and Bing fudging search engine results, or banks refusing to do business with Andrew Torba, so he has to get checks in the mail to fund Gab. Also, friendly reminder that Youtube and Twitter have never turned a profit, and yet they're still going. Money keeps being poured into Twitter and Youtube at a loss because the point isn't about the money: it's about controlling people.
