Got my first shot of the Moderna yesterday, sore arm, no other issues. And the sore arm might be because I thrashed my arms and shoulders yesterday at the gym.
It feels like the damn regular flu, just a little bit worse. Like it is the flu, but a little more fatigueThere's something like a 70% chance this will be like a bad cold that is over in a few days, with possibly a loss of taste or smell for a bit longer, and you won't even need anything more than over-the-counter meds to deal with symptoms, and you have a 99.9% chance of surviving even if it does get bad enough to require a hospital stay. It could also very well be a regular flu. So here's hoping.

I won't be getting the vaccine due to orders from a higher powers...(My parents)
That, and I think the whole ordeal is more than it's worth, if I get Covid and die, so be it.

Truth is I don't want the shot both as a personal preference and my parents happen to voice a similar opinion and since my workplace is making taking it optional I took the option I prefered.
Besides, I am the oldest in a big familly and a JohnBoy, through and through. I value my parents opinions highly.
Funny thing is that for me, a normal flu actually can last about a month anyway.
