I don't see how this pipeline hack is Biden's fault even though I see everyone blaming him. That makes Absolutely no sense.
One of the things Trump was working on was better Cyber Security. Mumbling Joe ended that action because Trump was working on it.I don't see how this pipeline hack is Biden's fault even though I see everyone blaming him. That makes Absolutely no sense.
Other than that, spot on
Biden dragged his heels rather severely on actually doing anything, even after multiple attacks like Solar Winds or the one against Florida's power grid well before this. He did things like promise to sign a cybersecurity EO in his first 100 days. Look at his first hundred days of EOs, however, and you won't find it. In fact all cybersecurity EOs were quietly canned (but spoken about loudly to proclaim that Biden was "doing something" that never actually happened) until he signed one yesterday well after the hack.I don't see how this pipeline hack is Biden's fault even though I see everyone blaming him. Meanwhile Trump actually created CISA and was moving forward on cybersecurity but all Trump appointees had to go, of course, so Biden's got a new appointee of his own... which he only got around to three days ago, after the breach. CISA's had only an acting director this whole time.
But wasn't this pipeline owned and ran by a private company? One of the things Trump was working on was better Cyber Security. Mumbling Joe ended that action because Trump was working on it.
By that standard of judgement we'd have to conclude that 9/11 was no failure on the part of US intelligence services, because the planes involved were owned by a private company. Protecting property is kind of the government's job, one of the largest reasons to have government in the first place. But wasn't this pipeline owned and ran by a private company?
Well obviously nobody can foresee exactly what would have happened in alternate timelines. But I find it quite hard to grasp the idea that Biden putting some effort into Cybersecurity wouldn't have helped. Would the attack have made it through anyway? Well, maybe, maybe not, we aren't omniscient. But to draw a comparison, a soldier can still be killed by a bullet even wearing body armor, and your soldiers can kill an enemy with knives. That doesn't mean issuing armor and firearms to your soldiers won't help them win battles. How would the policy effect that? And how do we know that Trump would have had anything in place right now?
The way I'm looking at it is if they had tried this six months earlier, it still would have worked but Trump would have been president, and I wouldn't have blamed him either.
Maybe I'm wrong about stuff, which is why I am framing this as questions rather than statements.

The 'Biden Gas crisis' started with him cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline. It'll probably be ongoing until that policy is reversed.
Seems to me he signed an EO that specifically undid one by Trump that banned foreign interest in US infrastructure, which would allow a back-door for such attacks.I don't see how this pipeline hack is Biden's fault even though I see everyone blaming him. That makes Absolutely no sense.

Work continues on plans for a new social media platform.
Well that's good because that was quite the letdown lolTrump to relaunch rallies in June as he tries to hit Biden on crises
Former President Trump will hold two rallies in June as he looks to capitalize on a series of crises engulfing President Joe Biden and lay down a marker for 2024.www.dailymail.co.uk
Looks like that new Trump website wasn't supposed to be the one people are hyped about.
"How dare the comservatives and right-wimgers try and prepare for the next election-circle again! They should wait until the electoon has started before asking for money so the demorats have a headstart!"Well Trump has started trying to beg donors for funding for rallies again.
Dude, the GOP completely screwed the pooch in 2020, even if the election was stolen."How dare the comservatives and right-wimgers try and prepare for the next election-circle again! They should wait until the electoon has started before asking for money so the demorats have a headstart!"

Mate, if we went by your wants, the GOP is supposed to drop its pants, bend over, and let the demorats have their way with it while proclaiming the joys of abortion, LGBT+, and high taxation.
Which is going to help stop or slow the Uniparty how?Dude, the GOP completely screwed the pooch in 2020, even if the election was stolen.
It could only be stolen because of GOP complicity in it, up to the VP.
Also, frankly the way the Trump campaign/WinRed acted towards it's donors was...far closer to the Left's depiction of Trump's character and mannerisms than what the Right likes to believe.
I have no confidence in the GOP, or the American political process as a whole, at this point.
I'm not going to throw money away by donating to them during a period of increasing inflation, either.
If the GOP actually accomplishes something in 2022, maybe I will reconsider, but I am an Independent for a reason. If I wanted to, I would have registered as an R already. I voted R for Trump, not Trump for R, and think the GOP is nothing more than controlled opposition for the most part in the current time.
I have no interest in taking part in the charade of American politics, or funding it beyond what is required in my taxes.
You talk as if backing the GOP would in any way accomplish that. It won't.Which is going to help stop or slow the Uniparty how?
