"The whiteass cracka wipypo got the job I deserved?! Better cry RAICISM!!1!"ESPN's Stephen A. Smith is crying racism over Steve Nash, a White man, "skipping the line" in getting an NBA Coaching job while ignoring the apparent fact the NBA's first Black coach Bill Russell apparently was hired under similar standards.

Simply for the top-tier accomplishment of making a cringe, dated political reference atop the background killing of the original series main antagonist. Why, 'cause she's the one who killed Mojo? I mean, moveon.org--
Life is one big hate-boner
In...Look at this and be amused news...
The CW was making a Powerpuff Girls live-action (I know I, for one, cringe just typing that).
They're now reshooting the pilot episode for some reason...Theory being because of leaked script stuff that was...well,
(Site no like linking photos from twitter, so as much as I hate doing it, here's a twitter link--has a few examples of the impressive writing)

Like...That's impressive.
Or, or, ooh, honorable mention to the pseudo-philosophical tripe darker & edgier Hollywood (well...Canada? Where does CW film?) went with!
Isn't that pony show also meant for kids? I guess they are for the first time deliberately aiming at the fatherless neckbearded soy boy demographics.

Nonsense, internet memes are never wrong and neither am I.Funny thing is none of the Bronies I personally know come under those headings.
As someone who's ostensibly part of that demographic (I don't have kids, I don't shave as much as I should, and I'm not exactly the most manly of men), looking at this feels like someone is trying to shit directly into my eye sockets.Isn't that pony show also meant for kids? I guess they are for the first time deliberately aiming at the fatherless neckbearded soy boy demographics.
demographic (I don't have kids,
Ah, so I'm only two-thirds part of that demographic; thank you, I feel a bit better about myself. He said fatherless, not childless.
Sorry, not one of my kinks.someone is trying to shit directly into my eye sockets.
Who is the audience for this? Wasn't this a kids' show?
In short, as with most things our entertainment industry puts out these days, it's a show by narcissists, for narcissists. The target audience isn't Powerpuff Girls fans. Hollywood just wants to use the brand name recognition to bring in more of the masses. Most people who go see reboots films like the new Robocop or the 2009 Star Trek or whatever, never actually saw the originals. It's just that Robocop and Star Trek were names commonly brought up in pop-culture. When the masses hear "robocop movie is coming out!", and remember that people talked about it a lot and seemed to speak of it fondly, they are more likely to go watch it than they are to go watch some brand new original movie they've never heard before.
Also, Hollywood writers are narcissists. They never care about actually care about the original work or adapting it faithfully. Adaptations are always inevitably the Hollywood writer(s) just wanting to do their own thing, but because they can't get the funding for their own original movie, they have to swap out the names of their own project with the names of the characters of the brand IP they're supposed to be adapting.
Don't forget sex pests. Soo many sex pests. In short, as with most things our entertainment industry puts out these days, it's a show by narcissists, for narcissists.
I only saw the trailers (which were without any hint of plot) and already got a vibe of "nah, don't need to watch this".
