More, I suspect, that they like to use zero-sum premises as a cudgel to guilt other people with, while at the same time using it to excuse their own shamelessly predatory behavior.
With generous helpings of what is essentially Insane Troll Logic.
"Everything in society is exploitation! When you go and buy food at a shop, you are exploiting the people who work there!"
"What? No dude, if anything they are exploiting me, by charging such a high price for -"
"Ah, but you agree to pay that price!"
"Well, I do need to eat in order to live."
"Exactly! So the food is of more value to you than the money you pay for it! So you are giving them something of less value in exchange for something of more value, and therefore every time you buy anything at a shop, you are committing theft!"
Okay, I've never seen one of them use exactly that argument, but a large part of their rhetoric does seem to consist on blaming ordinary people, and telling them they are bad, on pretzel-logic reasoning rather like that.
