I haven't followed any news or this thread, so coming completely out of the blue here: is it true that Republican gains are much more disappointing than expected? That's what I saw here on the news at least.
Yeah. I think someone here said it was looking like a reverse 2018. Dems maybe gain in the Senate but lose the House.I haven't followed any news or this thread, so coming completely out of the blue here: is it true that Republican gains are much more disappointing than expected? Look, brain dead is an attractive quality in a politician. I'd rather that than them have 'ideas' about stuff. Usually those 'ideas' lead to more problems. Look at Oz's 'ideas': "transing kids is A-Okay". "Gun control is something we need", etc. You can't complain about people wanting to trans kids based on a vote where both options were for it. What you could do is blame Trump for endorsing a candidate who wanted to transition kids.Very much seems to be the case. The Democrats line about ‘democracy being on the ballot’ seems to be coming true…with them leading the charge against America.
Look, maybe I’m just in denial, but I refuse to believe that people of my state (Pennsylvania) would vote in another brain-addled moron into power. You’d have thought they’d have learned after Biden!

No, he's braindead, he won't do anything! (No, he will because of puppeteering, but he looks safe because of the braindeadness). Look, he will vote in bad policies. So would Oz. You aren't stuck with Fetterman though! If Oz had one, you'd have to vote for a pro-gun control candidate every year. Look, I'd see this as electing Obama in 2012 vs Romney. Obama Obama Trump was a ton better than Obama Romney Romney.…As opposed to Fetterman and his socialist goons who will advocate for those same thing anyway.
To which Abhorsen replies, "Yes, so why should I care which one of them wins?" edit: damn, I should have gone with Predictit…As opposed to Fetterman and his socialist goons who will advocate for those same thing anyway.

The races that are worrying me right now are Mastriano and Oz. It’s looking like Walker may edge out Warnock, but with Kemp basically having his election in the bag at this point I’m not to worried about Walker.
Why anyone would still vote Fetterman when he's still suffering from a stroke is beyond me.
Blue no matter who.
They just want him to fill a seat and vote for Democrat bills. They don't need him for anything more than that.
He's not a president, so you don't have to worry about his administrative state doing everything themselves, so I'm not too worried. As for being better than Oz, I don't know of any republican not better than him, even the RINOs.Maybe, assuming that whoever gets put in after Fetterman gets the boot is any better. That and assuming that we won’t spend years if not decades cleaning up his mess like we have with Obama.
I've listened to some honest lefties talk about him...like Krystal from Breaking Points. She's as much of a dumb lefty as it gets, but she's honest, and I am taking her word for it.Mastriano was never going to win. There’s a reason (actually several) that the DGA (yes, the Democratic Governors Association) and Josh Shapiro & Co dumped so much money into his primary -double what Mastriano himself spent, actually.
This and 1) the fact that Oz is a carpetbagger (he’s actually from NJ and basically was spending part of the year waiting for a house to be built for him), and 2) the fact that a lot of Republicans within the state were very wary of him given his stances on a bunch of issues. Whereas Fetterman is an ass who has never worked a day in his life (living off daddy’s money), but even so he’s still actually from Pennsylvania.
It's neck and neck while all sides double down from what I see.I haven't followed any news or this thread, so coming completely out of the blue here: is it true that Republican gains are much more disappointing than expected? That's what I saw here on the news at least.
Well, the red wave hopium is clearly out of the question at this point. From what I understand the question is more whether the Democratic majority is 50 or 51 seats than if they get one, but even if Republicans get 51 it's a disappointment compared to historical expectations and what might have been expected before the campaign season started. So in that sense GoldRanger is right. It's neck and neck while all sides double down from what I see.
Expecting Lake and Masters to emerge victorious in ArizonaI mean, Democrats voted for a literal dementia patient.
Their standards obviously aren’t very high.
Arizona just started reporting in. Looks like Lake and Masters are running behind right now, but hopefully that changes quick.
Fraud ain't likely outside of AZ. This has been a general meh around the country.Fraud is likely, but if the Dems have voter fraud schemes big enough to ensure they can control midterms in so many states it honestly means the entire system might as well be useless for any sort of voting. The more likely explanation really is that voters have been turned into good drones who will surrender their freedom for safety because TV man says so.

Doubling-down on Laxalt, Masters and Walker winning. It's looking like the Republicans will have a 51 majority.
