This thread needs a bumping... and why not aid that with a Blaine Pardoe tweet.
Take note burgeoning SF writers... this is how the successful novelists mind manages his time.
Dear Mr Pardoe,
My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway.
Seriously, if you make a pie chart, and have this many slices being barely distinguishable shades of the same color, you should be banned from ever making another chart ever again.
Onto the thread topic, I have a newly painted mech to show off:
It's a 3D printed design by a shop in Germany,
Jul3D. They offer a lot of the usual MWO model rips, but also some original designs, which most places like that don't do.
The model itself is very, very nice, the print layers are fairly minimal even without paint, with it you almost have to know where too look for them. Good detail on most of it, though the cockpits details could stand to be a bit better, but I've seem worse in offical models too. I'll probably stick with offical models for most stuff, but if you need a mech and it's not in plastic ortiu don't like the old metal one, this is a good plan B.
