Someone not so fucking full of themselves, or convinced that dragging people over the edge actually helps them in a meaningful way, or who takes life lessons from a failed apprentice to Sidious.
I mean fuck, do you know how fucking stupid and nihilistic you sound to anyone not already blackpilled?
I prefer to give hope, rather than take it.
I myself have said I’m not a nihilist. I get up in the morning, I don’t lay down to die.
The world is passing away.
Let’s be real here-if there is no God, and no hope of a hereafter. The earth will eventually be consumed by the sun and the universe will through the inevitable process of entropy be a place of fleeting atoms that never contact each other ever.
Unless your a humanist and believe we can overcome those things. Which is fine, that’s an actual belief system but I ain’t seein no progress yet. Come back to me when we have FTL and replicators.
This world is hopeless, I cited Vergere who by the way believed that problems could be overcome, and wasn’t a failed apprentice. Half in jest, half sincerely. And yes pushing people over the edge is productive if they get the right lessons for it. If she were a nihilist, she would have told Jacen to just accept his torture and wait until he died of old age because it didn’t matter, in fact she gave him that choice.
But if you want something else-I’d quote Solomon who remarked that the river goes to the sea and back again, it’s all a rat race. This world is a rat race. And we’re the rats.
That doesn’t mean things can’t get better, or that problems aren’t solved, but that human nature and societies never fundamentally change.
That is except when history ends. When the world is destroyed and remade for those who were faithful.
I mean if I were a true nihilist-I’d encourage everyone to commit mass suicide because well damn it doesn’t matter. Which I clearly do not do.
Solomon wasn’t a nihilist, and Vergere wasn’t a nihilist.
So think a little before you reprimand me.
