ERPPCs are 15 heat. Doesn't matter if they're inner sphere or clan make. Since it's plasma...you could even have some sort of heat transfer rule as well...something like +1 or +2 heat for each pulse that hits, though that seems excessive. I'd probably spec out the Rotary Pulse Cannons as 10-12...

Flipside of that is EA cooling tech is probably better than that of Star League freezers.

Considering the pulse cannons could do significant damage to Warship Armor in canon they'd turn mech scale into confetti. I see them more like a AC20/Gauss/Artillery equivalent for size and weight consideration.

I'm sure the galling pulse cannons will perform adequately against infantry!

If this were a traditional BTech novel, Hanse would have to face Romano in 1v1 combat somehow. He'd defeat her and leave her bitter and vengeful. Thus she'd come back later and try to replace Hanse with Op Doppleganger so she can torture the real one for years.
