James wanted to go into town to buy paint (to paint the wands as we discover what they do) and sell the huge pile of broken glass to a glassmaker (or merchant) as stock (re-working broken glass is much easier than making new glass).

The girl also needs new clothes, one of the wands made her grow spikes out of her back that ripped holes in her clothes.

Okay, going to needed to re-read, and then figure out how to write that masterlist.
 
Hold up, I thought we only had barrels of wands, what crap are we carrying that made them hostile?
 
@FriedCFour to be clear, the space behind the "door with the female figure" is no longer the flooding sewer tunnel, but a more presentable room with a staircase right?
