Conservation of Ninjutsu-When Elites Become Mooks & Worfs

How can anyone both characters in-universe and even fans of a series/setting take said “elites” seriously for long when they come in larger numbers and start getting slaughtered by smaller numbers who once had trouble even taking down one of them?

I think there are admittedly limitations in time, pages and animation and creator-skill, but if said “elites” were said to have so many skills or powers or high level of mastery in said skill or power, I’d think they’d all have to start showing or using them all to prove their worth or otherwise it becomes simply an Informed Trait

“Elites” said to be those with great combat experience and veterans of thousands of battles and experts in their fields, you’d think even a single one would take a few hours to be taken down or finished off

Reminds me, in Dark Souls I-III, I can maybe buy the reason a nobody(the PC)can beat guys like say the Black Knights and Silver Knights is because both are insane and while they hit hard, they’re NOT as good as they’d be if they were sane.

Typically when it comes to "conservation of ninjutsu", it's more like the protagonists have become more powerful. It's like when a protagonist is level 10 and they run into a level 40 boss, so it's a long and hard struggle. Then, later, the protagonist has become like level 60 and knows how to beat them now, so the only way to really challenge him is to throw multiple of those level 40 guys at him.

Fair, though I think outside of manga, like say in comics, there's still the limitation and realisation of having to show just how dangerous each villain is when they're all rushing en masse against one or two superheroes on occasion

Gotta make it so that even if individual dudes will take more than one-two hits when they're in their regular appearances, that they take it all quick and easy here

That said, ever read Berserk? Guts killing Apostles more easily is mostly plausible due to the Berserker Armour

Also, TBF, even the "mooks" are kinda separate on how powerful each are, given not all of them are as big or are likely as versatile in abilities(The Count & Rosine are probably some steps higher than the average Apostle)
