With no baseball for a while, been watching baseball videos.

My dad used to be an ump for little league, and on at least one occasion one of my fastballs got past the catcher and nailed him in the mask.

I am going to have to start doing that....God knows, no baseball is conspiring to make me a little crazy.

On one hand this seems very sweet but on the other hand, the Blue Jays are Canadian so is it really that surprising?



Then again, it is the Toronto Blue Jays.

Just stumbled upon this classic video where legendary pitcher and repeat assault with a deadly weapon enthusiast Randy Johnson got made one time because a Cleveland Indian player got off an inside the park home run in the bottom of the very first inning.



Randy Johnson got peeved and facing down a skilled batter in Kenny Lofton didn't help things. Him trying to hit the guy with a baseball didn't help things much either.

How about a twist to the sport....replace the baseballs with a similar object, say M26 frag grenades? Pull the pin, and pitch!! Now the batter has LOTS of motivation to hit the "ball"...!

Of course, there's a small issue for whoever catches the "ball"....
