No True ChiCom/Commie Derail Thread

Marx and Engels in fairness weren’t much interested in imagining a new society down to naming streets and schools. Like the utopian socialists of their day were. They were far more interested in providing a “scientific” analysis of the capitalist system. They actually viewed moral condemnations of capitalism to be useless and of little intellectual or theoretical value.

Frankly I find it better if we separate our discussions on communism to Communism-Theory, Ideology, and Ideologues, and Communism-in Practice, History, and Contemporaries.

That way we can avoid derailing a discussion of whatever merits Marx's particular ideas have or don't have with the Holodomor.

Both for this thread, and in political, ideological, and historical discourse more broadly. But that's just a suggestion.
 
Was it only Zimbabwe or was there other nations that had an absurd amount of value in paper money that is worthless elsewhere?
