You have demonstrated your lack of willingness to adapt to society. Therefore, we will remove you from society...permanently.

Someone get some rope.
You have to have a proper investigation and trial first. The last thing we want is people being charged for something someone else did. That has happened way to much in the past. The police don't always do a thorough investigation as people think.
Never trust the police when they say someone did something. They often get it wrong.

They have done more good than bad. A ton of people who were in jail for things they literally did not do. And were only their because of corrupt DAs and Police got freed. The cases have been covered by Dr Todd Grande. You can look up the videos on his channel.

They have also gotten murderers. Domestic abusers and the like set free.
They don't seem to actually vet who they set free

Typical leftie idiocy. They seem to think that the best way to counter injustice is more injustice.

No, hang him. And make it easier to kill criminals, because the current system is deliberately designed to make executions too difficult and costly to pursue.

No, I would rather them actually make sure the person is innocent instead of accepting the person is when they arnt.
That's not their job though; their job is to try and poke holes into cases to see if they can get convictions overturned. You may as well try and argue that defense lawyers should make sure their clients are innocent before defending them. The idea is that it's better that ten guilty people go free than one innocent person suffer, not the other way around. You want someone to blame; blame the prosecution for failing to put together a good enough case that can stand up to scrutiny.

But they don't stop to ask themselves "did the person actually do it?"
They dint carry if the person did it or didn't.
That's the issue here.
If they are willing to get people who actually committed the crimes set free, you just released someone who will do it again, especially if they know how they can make sure to get away with it this time.

I am all for innocent people going free, but at the same time, understand that the person may actually be guilty as well.
Look at both sides not just immediately presume his claim of innocence is true

I don't care either. Again; it doesn't matter if the person is innocent or not, or if they'll go on to hurt someone if released. What matters is if the case against them can hold up to scrutiny. If it can't, they should have never been convicted and sent to jail in the first place; regardless of their guilt. The integrity of the legal system is just too important to allow prosecutors to wield it like a cudgel with impunity against the innocent and guilty alike, and they must do better.

You can find any scrutiny in any case if you look hard enough

You do realize they got way more innocent people out of Prison than guilty ones right. Look 3 of these people were guilty. Let's just let the 100 that were innocent rot in jail. If you were in jail for a crime you did not commit. I am pretty sure you would be begging for their help.

Texas murder suspect runs victim over twice before kissing, stabbing his limp body: VIDEO

On May 3, the victim, Steven Anderson, was walking on a Texas street to pick up mail when a car ran him over.
The suspect is 20-year-old Karon Fisher, identified in court records as a man but also described as a woman by police.

The car reversed and hit him again, pushing him further into the street while neighbors frantically called 911.
One neighbor came out of the building with a pillow, and that's when the suspect returned with a knife in hand.

The suspect can be seen flipping Anderson's limp body over, straddling and kissing him before stabbing him nine times.
The suspect casually walked away as if nothing had happened, and neighbors watched.
