Cubans mercenaries are a major export for Cuba. Every male 18 to 50 are fully trained infantry as part of the mandatory military service. Which makes them popular recruits along with Nepalese and Burmese.

If you can't get a Nepali or Burmese Gurkha. Cubanos are tough and very good guerrilla troops.
