Adultery bans after Dobbs?

You do realise that "oath" is a fancy word for "promise", don't you?

Frankly, when it comes to promises, I do the same.

I always grew up with the idea that Oaths were promises with extra flash. "I swear on my mother's grave" Iron clad contracts, etc. etc. and more often than not worth less than a simple promise. Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that public marriage ceremonies are kinda expected by the greater culture at large, I'd be content with eloping. it'd save money I could use on the honeymoon and a house.

I guess that's where you and I ultimately diverge. Oaths are like cars sports car. they are used (mostly) by people trying to overcompensate for a lack of something.
An oath is your word. If you say and promise to do something, then you don't do it. Why should anyone EVER trust you. Even if it's hard or you are put at a disadvantage you should still hold to your word even with your enemies. UNLESS they are oath breakers themselves. Everything in life is reciprocal.

frankly I just don't make promises. especially to people I don't know or don't like.

eh, you want to be careful not to screw with the minority to much either as it will lead to social stratification and rich and powerful people will take advantage of that and use it as an opportunity for a power grab, and you end up with what we are dealing with modern progressives. We are still dealing with the aftereffects of American slavery and the jim crow era even if it's not in the way the left says it is.

It's quite interesting, isn't it? White nationalists say that bringing in slaves in the past was an example of corporate greed, just like allegedly bringing in immigrants today is. It's always greedy corporate elites against the ordinary white workers. Except now it's not only white workers, but also workers of other races as well.

I'm sorry this argument is the dumbest thing ever. Going completely materialist here, rape only leads to hurt feelings. If you are asleep, and then I do things to you, but no one ever tells you you won't be harmed. Yet if someone tells you, your emotions will cause you pain. Same with adultery.

Rape also results in your bodily autonomy being violated.
