The Americas Pride crosswalk defaced outside West Vancouver police station

The Article said:
Police in West Vancouver, B.C., are investigating after a driver defaced the police department's newly unveiled Pride crosswalk.

Police say staff inside the station heard a "loud and sustained" tire squealing outside just after 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers discovered tire marks across part of the crosswalk. The car, which appeared to have two occupants, sped away and hasn't been found.

I found common ground with the far left! I found a police department in need of severe defunding, since they seemingly have so much police resources to investigate car skid marks on a road. There must be absolutely no other active crime occurring, or any cases (active or cold) that could use attention from law enforcement in West Vancouver, thus why they're having officers investigate this chilling case.

That sounds about right. If they've got time for tire tracks on the road, they clearly don't need anywhere near as much manpower as they have.

HOW COME THERE HAVE BEEN NO ARRESTS YET?

Many of my LGBTQIA+ friends have confided in me how this aura of fear and silence have made them feel less safe and I feel terrible that I haven't been using my voice and (mixed) privilege as a voice and shield to boost their plight... 😟😖😫😭

This wasn't a hate crime this was a natural conquence of putting something on an active road people drive on.
