The Indiana State Flag:
Everything on it means something. 18 of the 19 stars represent the US states which were states when Indiana became the 19th state.

Simple with red, white, and blue is a common theme in the parts of the world which were once and, in many cases, still are governed by William of Normandy's descendants.

I know it's one of the states that just do the normally boring "State Seal on a blue field", but Virginia's State Seal is so badass that I feel it alone makes up for the otherwise boring nature:
As per the description in the Commonwealth's law: "On the obverse, Virtus, the genius of the Commonwealth, dressed as an Amazon, resting on a spear in her right hand, point downward, touching the earth; and holding in her left hand, a sheathed sword, or parazonium, pointing upward; her head erect and face upturned; her left foot on the form of Tyranny represented by the prostrate body of a man, with his head to her left, his fallen crown nearby, a broken chain in his left hand, and a scourge in his right. Above the group and within the border conforming therewith, shall be the word "Virginia," and, in the space below, on a curved line, shall be the motto, "Sic Semper Tyrannis."
Yeah... explicit nudity and implied violence... flying all over an entire state.

Because, in general, it is based on the same principle as Spain. It is a synthesis of all the former coat of arms administrative units of which today Lodz Voivodeship is composed.
And such an interesting fact. Here is the old coat of arms of the Sandomierz Voivodeship, doesn't it look familiar?
I didn't show it before because the PLC didn't have the province's flags, only the coats of arms.
