Why did they pay his bail? Let me guess: "Bail is racist"

I hope these people fucking die. Simple as. I want to see them be the victims of the criminals they release on the streets.
In fairness, against bail, if someone can't afford it, it's literally punishing someone before they have been convicted, sorta screwing with the innocent before being proven guilty. It should be proportional to the ability to pay.

at the same time if you keep doing stupid shit while on bail you should probally be held until one of your trials goes through.

Why? So a murderer who is poor can make bail because it is within his ability to pay?

First, that would be accused murderer, as they haven't been proven guilty yet. You know, like the situation Rittenhouse was in. And second, it should be proportional to ability to pay. So a poor person and a rich person should have the same difficulty in affording bail for an arrest, while the specific crime could make it either prohibitive to afford or very easy.

I am saying that there are many things which should decide bail.
Not just ability ti pay.
Ability to pay shouldn't be considered at all, because most tines it it's the family that pays not the person

But in original concept bail was not supposed to have anything to do with such definition of "fairness". Bail is, in concept, supposed to be reflective of the total balance of risk of the person becoming a fugitive, and the cost of finding and arresting them again in case they do.

By that logic, a low level cartel enforcer illegal immigrant, even if very poor, arrested for a lesser felony assault crimes, should have astronomically high bail, because there is a good chance he will sod off to another country and getting him to show up in court will be near impossible.
On the other hand, a millionaire CEO arrested for lesser felony assault probably will show up in court and pay all fees, damages etc, because there isn't much of a danger he will try to disappear over it, because he has a family, business and so on, he would lose more becoming a fugitive than showing up in court, so he shouldn't have to pay much bail, as the risk is very low.

Your idea of pricing screws formally rich people for no good reason, and greatly favors formally poor people with patrons/family/friends/supporters richer than themselves.

It kind of sort of should, IMO. Like, one month's worth of the person's income regardless of its absolute value. Something like that.
Agreed, but not set in absolute terms based on income or wealth. Bail, in theory, is "here's what the court thinks is necessary to make sure you show up and face the charges intead of being held until the trial's over".

That number is a lot higher for someone who can say "fuck it, I'm on the next flight to a non-extradition country because it's a day ending in -y and I feel like it" than it is for a working-class guy with a family and a mortgage when the charges are serious ones.

Yeah, I'm betting it's either buried, or they try to reframe it as a religious extremist incident or something.

It's why they're trying to use the Knife angle with no evidence, now they are focusing on the Bail and the DA in question and why no one is keen to bring up the races involved; it was a blatantly Anti-White terrorist attack and that point needs to be driven home/made as much as possible.

It wont and shouldn't the left has been acting like crazed maniacs for years now they need to be held accountable for their actions and I dont care if Ron thinks its hard this is a civilzational problem.
Problem is, he knows that Republicans like him are also responsible for things like this; if only becuase they've done absolutely nothing to stop them from happening. That's why he doesn't want you to talk about it; he doesn't want people to realize that he's controlled opposition.
