So the once Playstation exclusive game, Days Gone, will be coming to the PC with an expected release date of May 21st, 2021. There's been an uptick in interest in the open world, zombie survival game since it was released for the Playstation back in 2019. However some of that interest was dampered when Sony decided to be lame and for the time being, stated there wouldn't be a sequel to Days Gone because of its long development time and "mixed critical" reviews (it got 71 on Metacritic from the shills).

However, because fans are a hopeful and silly bunch (I certainly am) a petition was released this April on Change.org that's hoping that there will be a sequel for the game, especially since it did end on quite the ominous tone.

Whether or not Days Gone 2 happens likely depends on PC sales numbers.

Comes out May 17 9 PM Pacific, May 18 12AM Eastern.

Thinking about getting it just to test out my new gaming laptop that's arriving on Tuesday. I'll wait and see how the reviews look Tuesday and how I'm feeling about playing it.

Looks like the PC Port is considered a success...

Iit had a fairly strong launch week. It was the best-selling game on Steam that week, with 27,450 concurrent players over the weekend and a 92% positive rating.

Days Gone is another success for PlayStation on PC

It didn't outperform Horizon Zero Dawn, but the suits will still be smiling.
