You have relatives in the State Department or the Alphabet Soup Agencies/MIC?

Suspicion intensifies.

Niether I hate both I'm just sick of people like you blaming America for your own lack of backbone. Your mouths talk checks that NONE of you can or will cash.

You know Trump maybe a jerk but they have one thing I have yet to see from any of you so called "based" it's called follow through. Something I have see from any of the braggarts here on the site. I have ZERO respect for those who call for violent revolution and yet have not martyred themselves. Just as I have zero respect for warhawks who aren't at the Frontline to enlist.

Both.

At the end of the day I have to admit that we americans are just not all that well bright expecially when it comes to international stuff. We cant create revolutions out of whole cloth because were really not competant enough to pull it off. What we can do is supply lots of money and resources to different fractions which amplifies them.

On the other side, Russians has historically been massive dicks to their conquered and subjected people. I mean massive assholes, and the soviet period was not gentle at all. People on the ground in those areas hate the russians for very legitimant reasons.

I think it might be less 'not bright' than having less experience of ruling as opposed to replacing native populations plus in recent decades having a lack of knowledge of what is necessary to really rebuilding a nation state. Too often it seems to be crush the existing group then throw money at the issue, often in ways that were not well thought out.

Agree that Russia has failed repeatedly to get a less autocratic system both for themselves and for the inevitable minorities as well as confusing military power and territorial possessions with being a successful nation. Which has led to disaster for everybody involved unfortunately.

Population replacement appears to be a general Western thing in recent decades. The only ones not doing this are the Israelis. Well, them and the Eastern Europeans, but they weren't Western until a couple of decades ago. I don't know if East Asia (excluding China) counts as Western, but they're not doing the whole population replacement thing either.

By population replacement do you mean managing to maintain a suitable fertility rate to at least maintain the current population? I suspect that but was confused as my initial reading was you were talking of forced population movements, such as Greeks and Turks after 1922 or the Germans after 1945. However don't think that fits with what I thought we were talking about either.

I was actually talking about mass immigration here, primarily to the West.
