So, anyway, I noticed we didn't have a dedicated thread on this yet despite it falling under our purview.

Basic explanation, the Netherlands goverment decided that to follow EU regulations cutting down on oceanic nitrogen blooms of toxic algae fed by fertilizer runoff, they'd forcibly shut down farms and cattle ranches. Needless to say, this greatly upset the farmers whose livelihood depended upon those farms and everyone affected by the increased scarcity and corresponding increased prices of food, so now they're protesting. The Netherlands goverment, seeing their politics were unpopular with their citizenry responded reasonably, haha, just kidding, they sent in tanks.

I wouldn't be so sure, farmers are a small part of general population and Dutch people are generally conditioned to support the current thing like enviromentalism and vaxx. Also the agriculture is limiting the expansion of cities, by destroying the farmers the municipalities get the land for profitable beneficial development projects.

They literally said it would "start as voluntary". Thry are openly saying if you don't comply it will be forces on you.

The WEF needs a monopoly on food to keep people on a leash. So they attack local food production and insist it will all be imported for "environmental" reasons.

Which is hilarious, considering that the global elites have done everything they can to sabotage international shipping, and are showing no signs that they're going to stop doing so any time soon.

WEF is just a newer branch of the almost century old attempt at a global world order. The WEF might have been still a small thing back in the middle of the War on Terror, but the people who are now allied to Schwab were already planning this.

The Dutch Gov wants to control the nitrogen pollution, so helpful farmers are delivering all their excess nitrogen straight to the government buildings/

Is every government in the western world trying to prove themselves, the biggest threat to their own people.

Suppose you were an awful, horrifically evil international conglomerate. Your world domination gameplan relies on reducing everybody's quality of living (except your own of course) and forcing them into abject servitude, forever, to your everlasting profit.

Would you be able to take over piecemeal, doing one country at a time? Of course not, as soon as the citizens in country #3 daw what happened to countries #1 and #2 they'd refuse to have anything to do with you and start gearing up, while the downtrodden citizens of of those nations would be trying to emigrate and turn against you.

So your strategy would depend on having every single powerful nation act at the same time, against their own people rather than risking any pesky resistance forming as you go.

No but you would think they would hold off while they are trying to go on a war footing, what With Ukraine, and russia getting ready to cut Europe off completely from gas.
