Oof! I wonder how bullying NC will work out for President White. I'm guessing "not well".

Nitpick: The NCAA threat is a hollow one because they're a tax-exempt non-profit. They're not part of the Federal Government. The President can't order them around "just because".

Considering Helms is blocking Gephardt's nomination for VP, White is trying other tactics to stop him.

Working on a segment of him calling US Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-MS) and US Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) into getting Gephardt confirmed.

President White arrives in Sarajevo, Bosnia in first international trip of his Presidency
Air_Force_One_SAM_27000.jpg

Air Force One leaving Andrews Air Force Base for the trip to Bosnia.

*December 22, 1997: President Mark W. White left the White House on Sunday via Marine One and flew to Andrews Air Force Base for the all-night journey to Sarajevo. He came to visit the US military troops by spreading holiday cheer as well as working on extending NATO's peacekeeping mission. He was accompanied by First Lady Linda Gale White. This was the first international trip of his Presidency since ascending to the nation's highest office 18 days earlier.

Due to foggy weather on Sunday night in Aviano, Italy, White House Press Secretary Mike McCurry confirmed that the President's plans had to change at the last minute, when Air Force One flew to Ramstein Air Base in Germany, where the Presidential party transferred to a small plane continuing the trip to Sarajevo.

Arriving in Sarajevo, Bosnian airport personnel rolled out the red carpet for White, who was greeted by three members of the Bosnian Collective Presidency including Serbian hard-liner Momcilo Krajisnik.

President White's arrival was marked by heavy security in Sarajevo, with local law enforcement and UN police vehicles patrolling the main road into town and policemen were stationed every 20-30 yards. Plastic tunnel was erected into the museum where the President was planning on meeting with the Collective Presidency. Hundreds of people stood along the airport roads, waving their hands and flags as the presidential motorcade drove past neighborhoods that were on the front-line of the devastating war which ended just two years earlier. Many of the houses are blasted beyond repair or rebuilding; others had to be off-limits because the suburbs haven't been cleared fully of land mines.

Accompanying the President was a top-level delegation that included 1996 Republican presidential nominee, former US Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole (R-KS), his wife, former US Labor Secretary Elizabeth Dole, President of the Red Cross and number of congressional Republicans.

Mandisha's personal PoV
January 12, 1998
Somewhere in the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona

***The following installment will be quite graphic, erotic and violent. Viewer discretion advised!

Mandisha Dushav was an Egyptian American woman, who had been having a hard time in a few years: from being snickered by jealous classmates at high school, getting roughed up by bitter classmates, who threw her in a locker by locking her inside and getting into fights with some on the soccer team during practice.

Following graduation with All American honors, Mandisha decided to attend the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado over the strong objections of some of her family members, who tried to advise her to attend the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington State which has an ROTC program. However, Mandisha was determined to doing what she wanted to do and nobody was going to tell her nothing.

Fast forward less than two years later, Mandisha was in her sophomore year at the Air Force Academy where she was excelling both academically and athletically. Despite several of the accolades, it was damn obvious some of the cadets were furious and jealous of "that uppity Egyptian bitch" whom they considered as "one of those uppity outsiders, who thinks she's smarter than everybody else". An upcoming evening training exercise was going to take place in the middle of nowhere, to some jealous cadets it was just the way they preferred it.

On the evening of January 12th, Mandisha was participating in an evening basic training exercise with other USAF Academy cadets in the middle of nowhere and suddenly got lost following her group. "I think I might've gotten lost" she wondered and was nearing the outpost as to following her group known as the B Team, who gotten stuck in the forrest.

While Mandisha was following the track of footprints, she was suddenly ambushed from behind when a male cadet used the butt of his rifle to knock her out; what happens next became quite disturbing....

The male cadet growled his group of buddies "Let's teach this half-breed bitch a lesson now!" Mandisha tried to fight back by kicking some of them and punching back, when someone from "The First Team" violently punched her in the face knocking her unconscious as one of the male cadets removed her clothes from head to toe, throwing them into the lake, spreading her legs wide as the group of male cadets (five overall) took turns violently raping Mandisha all night long.

"Penetrate that Egyptian half-breed piece of SHIT!" one of the sadistic male cadets happily growled as he threatened to kill Mandisha if she talked; they continued raping her non-stop repeatedly when a cadet walked in on what was going on "What the fuck are you assholes doing? Stop!"; "You're a fucking coward Perkins. What are you gonna do about it? Cry to the Superintendent of the Academy?" Perkins again told them "Stop it now damn it!" before grabbing one of the male cadets off of a bloodied, bruised and battered naked Mandisha.

"You're gonna fucking pay for this Perkins" growled one of the five male cadets before they left. Perkins was horrified by what he had just saw before leaving because he didn't want to be accused of raping a female cadet.

In the early morning hours of January 13th, a female cadet named Jennifer Hickcock of Tacoma, Washington State was horrified by what she saw: "Mandisha. What happened? I was trying to find you all night because nobody heard back from you during the basic training exercise last night." Jennifer immediately called Master Sergeant Roscoe Feliciano, who arrived and placed a large jacket covering Mandisha's naked body. Feliciano immediately called for medical assistance and sealed off the entire area as a crime scene.

Jennifer accompanied Mandisha to the hospital while the authorities contacted Mandisha's father, US Army Brigadier General Joseph Mitchell, who was stationed in Seoul, Republic of Korea at the time of the incident. For the Brigadier General, who was one of the commanding officers of US Forces Korea, he wanted an explanation of what happened (more on him later)......

MAJOR UPSET IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL: UNRANKED TEXAS LONGHORNS KNOCK TWO-TIME DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS OUT OF THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HUNT WITH UPSET VICTORY IN THE 1996 BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
5012dfe01f856.image.jpg

Texas Longhorns running back Priest Holmes (#33) scoring one of his three touchdowns during the inaugural Big 12 Championship Game in St. Louis, Missouri.

*December 7, 1996: With an attendance of 63,109 at the Trans World Dome in St. Louis, Missouri, the college football world was turned upside down with the unranked Texas Longhorns (8-4) pulled one of the biggest shockers of all: defeating the two-time defending national champion No. 3 Nebraska Cornhuskers (10-2) by a score of 44-27. Before the game, a moment of silence was held in honor of the late President Bill Clinton.

Longhorns quarterback James Brown threw for a career-best 353 yards on 19 of 28 passing attempts while running back, fifth-year senior Priest Holmes rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns. Texas had peppered Nebraska's top five-ranked defense for 527 yards of total offense by the end of the contest. "We probably had more big plays against us today than we've had all season long," Nebraska defensive coordinator Charlie McBride said in a post-game press conference. "I can't remember a game since I've been at Nebraska for 20 years when we had that many big plays against us."

FLORIDA GATORS WIN FIFTH SEC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP OVER ALABAMA
1996-SEC-champs.jpg

*December 7, 1996: Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Georgia)
An estimated sellout crowd of 74,132 watched as the SEC Eastern Division champion No. 4 Florida Gators (11-1) defeated their arch rivals, the SEC Western Division champion No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide (9-3) by a score of 45-30 in what many considered as the likely final game coached by Alabama Head Coach Gene Stallings, who plans on coaching their bowl game.

Florida quaterback Danny Wuerffel was named Most Valuable Player of the Game due to throwing for a record-high 401 passing yards and six touchdowns against an Alabama defense, which was ranked at No. 6 in the country and was coming into the game in overall total defense, but little did the Crimson Tide know of what the Gators were going to sucker-punch them...

Despite the Crimson Tide getting on the scoreboard first in the game, it didn't take too long for the Gators to respond and respond viciously by outscoring Alabama 24-7 in the first half that ended with Florida leading 24-14. Going into the third quarter, both teams traded touchdowns which included long scoring plays from both sides; Florida put the game away in the fourth quarter with a final touchdown. Florida wide receiver Reidel Anthony, one of Wuerffel's favorite targets, caught the football 11 times for 171 receiving yards with three touchdowns.

BYU COUGARS FINISH SEASON UNDEFEATED (14-0) DEFEATING NO. 20 WYOMING IN OVERTIME 28-25; AWAIT FATE ON BOWL ALLIANCE
maxresdefault.jpg

Cougars fans celebrate on the field at Sam Boyd Stadium following BYU's overtime victory against No. 20 Wyoming.

*December 7, 1996: In the inaugural WAC (Western Athletic Conference) championship game which was held at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Whitney, Nevada being televised on ABC with an estimated crowd of 41,238 in attendance including representatives from the three alliance bowls were on hand to watch, as No. 6 BYU had struggled early in the game; then had to come from behind in a game that wasn't as typical of an ending in WAC conference standards.

BYU's Ethan Pochman kicked the game-winning 32-yard field goal during overtime as the Cougars escaped with a 28-25 victory, keeping their undefeated season alive with a record of (14-0) including hopes of playing in a major bowl game such as either the Fiesta Bowl or Sugar Bowl as potential landing spots. BYU Head Coach LaVell Edwards told reporters after the wild game, "We should be playing somewhere in a major bowl game," adding "Certainly we deserve to be one of those teams."

Despite taking a 13-0 lead during halftime, the Cougars quickly sputtered in the third quarter, which resulted in having to come from behind by forcing overtime at the end of regulation with Porchman kicking the game-tying field goal which enraged Wyoming Head Coach Joe Tiller. Asked about the wild twists and turns of the game, BYU quarterback Steve Sarkisian summed it up "We battled back and we battled back again," continuing "We could've folded our tent when we lost our momentum but we didn't."

Now the BYU Cougars football team and their fans would have to wait and see what comes....

Change coming to India (Part I)
4:56 PM IST, Wednesday, January 14, 1998
New Delhi, India

"LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTION! SAVE INDIA NOW!" yelled protesters as they marched down the streets of New Delhi. Economic sanctions were crippling the country as well as explosive developments in the heinous massive war crimes committed by the Military Junta of India during their nearly 14 years in power. The mood of the Indian people was immediate: they wanted democracy and they wanted it now!

Backlash against Indian President General Ved Prakaish Malik has been brewing for awhile due to corruption scandals, economic problems, the South Asian country getting a bad reputation on the international stage. The mood went from mumbling, rumors and political talk behind the scenes escalated to uprisings that increased across Metro New Delhi for the past several months.

On the late morning hours of January 14th, the first potential signs of defections against the Military Junta of India began when young Indian Army officers announced in a press conference "Due to the serious and deteriorating situation engulfing the Indian government, we cannot align ourselves with a government, who betrays the trust of it's people. We believe the time has come to open the Republic of India back to full democracy!" Once word got to President Malik at Rashtrapati Bhavan (Residence of the Indian President) about the defections and explosions at one of the Army bases, "those traitors! They will pay!" he angrily growled as he crumpled papers on his desk.

At 4:25 PM, the Security Protection Group told President Malik and his family that it wouldn't be safe for them to remain in the palace as reports ensued that a massive group of protesters continued marching down the streets leading toward Rashtrapati Bhavan. "Mr. President. We need to take you and your family somewhere safe right now" as one of the SPG agents noticed the Presidential Guards mysteriously leaving the palace grounds and realized something was wrong, really wrong.....

As Malik and his family packed up their personal belongings and effects, one of the palace maids was worried about the loud protests converging onto the grounds of Rashtrapati Bhavan (more on her later in the timeline).

Chapter 4: Twists and turns of the Revolution in India

The Fallout
4:56 PM IST, Wednesday, January 14, 1998
Outskirts of New Delhi, India

The cries of the people and the demands for democracy and freedom were still ringing loudly across the streets of New Delhi and other major cities across India. Various political parties across the political spectrum put aside their differences in order to unite behind common goals; marching in protests against the vicious cruelties of the regime of controversial Indian President Ved Prakaish Malik.

This was the Indian Revolution or as some intelligence analysts called it: "The 01.14-17.98 Incident." over the course of four days.

Few expected that India, who once was the obvious target of influence and diplomatic lobbying ranging from Beijing, Moscow, Havana, London, Paris, Washington DC including the CIA, MI-6, etc., would all see the Military Junta of India which came to power in a violent coup d'etat in December 1984 would end up flopping so badly due to corruption, incompetence and horrible political blunders. Based on the human rights campaign in the diplomatic approach from US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who was determined to put an end to the ugly stigma that engulfed the United States' image abroad following the violent, bloody bloodbath in Panama during the Holton administration during the Fall of 1979.

Back in Washington, DC., Albright was bothered about the credibility and image of the United States was being considered a laughingstock due to previous administrations supporting the Military Junta of India ranging from George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Mark White. During a closed door Cabinet meeting at the White House, Albright implored on President White to take a strong stand against the violent heinous human rights violations committed by the military government. Annoyed with Albright's nagging, White snapped at her saying "Madeleine. You're making everyone else in the room uncomfortable. Would you please give real credible information or else, sit down and shut the fuck up!"

White hosted British Prime Minister Tony Blair and French President Jacques Chirac on the situation in India at Camp David. It's unknown what they discussed because it was a restricted private meeting between world leaders of three countries with nuclear weapons.

In the meantime back in India, Indian Army Second Lieutenant Gregorio Bhupatdi who was assigned to the protection detail of the President of India and his family, was inside his office at the winter presidential residence when he listened to the radio which reported three Army battalions defected and pledged loyalty with the opposition which was gaining momentum. "Holy SHIT! This is gonna be a long week" Bhuptadi groaned as he crumpled some written notes on his desk.

More fallout.....
10:00 AM IST, Thursday, January 15, 1998
New Delhi, India

It seemed like a matter of time before the Republic of India would lose its own caudillo. Besides the loss of support of all Operation Dog Whistle activities, the growing condemnations against the Military Junta of India, embattled Indian President General Ved Prakaish Malik in particular for the massive atrocities from across the world and the economic and political blunders of the South Asian country with nuclear weapons would eventually be blamed on gross incompetence and the disastrous electoral debacle that occurred a few months earlier and to even the White administration begrudgingly was forced to administer economic sanctions including trade sanctions on India, it was just too much.

More defections continued as the Indian Armed Forces would continue to turn on President Malik and the raging people would escalate their demands for democracy as they continue to be gunning for Malik and his staunchest group of supporters with several days before Republic Day.

On January 15th, the so-called press conference at Parliament began like many of Malik's speeches over his tenure as President. He spoke of the accomplishments of the Military Junta of India maintaining law and order; India's strong independent foreign policy. He also blamed outside agitators for instigating chaos on the Republic of India. However, Malik misjudged the mood of the crowd. Roughly six minutes into his speech, several people began jeering and booing; others began chanting "We Want Democracy Now!". Malik attempted to silence the crowd by raising his right hand, callinhg for the crowd's attention temporarily restoring some order; he proceeded to announce raising the minimum wage including other domestic reforms.....

This was a fatal mistake on Malik's part during the press conference........

More people began to boo and heckle the embattled Indian President as the images of Malik's reaction was among the most widely broadcast. He was wondering "Why can't I get control in maintaining order here?"

Failing to control the crowd, Malik abruptly ended the press conference and took cover inside the Parliament building. The rest of the day saw an open full-scale revolt exploding across Metro New Delhi's population which had assembled on the major streets across the Capitol City; they confronted police and military barricades. However, the rioters were no match for the military apparatus concentrated in New Delhi, which aggressively cleared out the streets by midnight and arrested hundreds of people in the process.

While this was going on, more defections escalated when rank-and-file soldiers quickly switched sides to the revolution almost immediately. The commamders wrote off Malik as a lost cause and refused to lift a finger in preventing the defections.

The entire world was watching as nobody knew what might happen next....

You got the Big-10 bowl bids wrong. A 10-1 Northwestern mathmatically can not be anything but the Big 10 champ and the Big-10 and Pac-10 champs always played each other in the Rose Bowl. That should be Northwestern v. Arizona St. with Brigam Young left out in the cold because they weren't part of the Bowl Alliance while Notre Dame - which refused a bowl bid that year - is.

Somewhere in Rashtrapati Bhavan
New Delhi, India

Ofelia Alctunez was working as one of the female maids inside Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, India for a few years. At the age of 20, she was working part-time in order to keep up her academic studies in college. She originally looked like one of the ugly ducklings on the outside, but was beautiful on the inside.

Going back to the evening hours of January 15th, while there was escalating massive protests in parts of the country, Ofelia on the other hand was "secretly exercising" when in fact she was in the middle of a lesbian sex escapade with Genesis Kaur. Upon hearing loud violent explosions, Ofelia woke up drenched with sweat and snuck out of one of the secret underground bunkers, naked and barefoot "What's that noise?" she wondered as she quietly tiptoed out of the room and walked all the way toward one of the private rooms of the presidential palace: calmly opening the curtains to see the mass protests converging onto the grounds of Rashtrapati Bhavan .

After more than sixteen minutes, Ofelia went back to the secret underground bunker and returned to her sex escapade for the remainder of the night.

That would work as long as the game isn't scheduled for a Sunday because BYU (Mormons) never plays games on a Sunday.

EDIT: I recall that BYU was once placed in a Friday-Sunday portion of the "March Madness" bracket. The question on the sports news was "What happens if BYU wins?"
