You guide to World Domination

The tutorial introduces you to the UI, but it doesn't explain how to play the game, so let me do it.

The key to success is a steady income
Do not rely on plots as a source of money, only use them to top off your coffers after a big purchase. The first thing you should focusing on is building more Radio repeaters. Once you have around eight radio repeaters, your criminal networks should provide enough passive income to run a large base and expand it without needing to plot.

Dealing With Agents
You will have a steady stream of investigators snooping around your cover operation. You need to take good care of your cover operation. The first thing you should do to help out your valets is provide them with some automated help: the Freeze ray. It degrades both skill and determination while not causing any suspicion.

Having your valets trek into the depths of your base is inefficient. Create a short hallway from your cover operation, just long enough for 4-6 freeze ray traps, and place a barracks at the end for your valets to rest in. Turn one corner of the barracks into a 4x6 mess hall.

Then build the gauntlet, a U-shaped hallway connected to the cover operation at both ends with nothing but freeze rays inside it.

Dealing with Super Agents
The easiest method is simple: Don't. Just avoid them. They will only invade your base if you perform a plot in a region while they are watching it. Don't worry if the region is about to lock down, that is just lost income, a super agent is probably going to kill half your base.

If you want to get a Super agent to leave a region with a story plot in it, there are two methods. The first is to just wait, the other is to invite them to your base. Super Agents have multiple difficulty levels, if you use the plot that requires only a single valet then they will come to your base at their lowest difficulty level. Once they arrive, activate red alert and send in your henchman. Super agents and their teams have excessively high disguise skills, but you and your henchman can see through it. Teamwork is key, if you catch a super agent away from their team, your evil genius and henchman can defeat them in a two-on-one fight fairly quickly. However if they have backup around, keep your evil genius away from them.

You can sell the broken stuff in the casino to make extra money at the start of the game.

When you hit the story mission labeled "Final intermission" you won't have far to go before you are locked out of side quests. If you want 100% completion, this is a good place for you to halt the story missions.

Second, in my next playthough, I'm taking Iris as my first henchman, she is way tougher than the one I originally picked and her abilities are very useful for defending your base. She can temporarilly act as a camera and summon guards and self heal.

Doomsought. The first base, the one weak to PATIOT has hidden seams of gold in it but you require heavy mining technology to get it.

They all have some gold on the basement level. Is there something special about that level other than having more of it than the others?
