It won't just happen though. Outreach needs to be done, and the Right needs to make room for voices that won't agree with it on some fundamental issues. Currently the Dem's Big Tent is breaking open, but the Republicans need to open their tent too. That's what I like about Trump. He doesn't have any real attachment to many conservative ideas, and so he'll open the tent through not giving a shit. For example, he held a rainbow flag during his campaign, and basically said that any revanchism on Obergfell v Hodges was dead. Now he's campaigning hard on Criminal Justice reform, wooing the black vote.

As slaves they were certainly employed in a sense with unpaid jobs either as a child from a slave couple or kidnapped from Africa to be brought to the states and sold there with no salary except food, lodging and clothes of questionable care.

According to the BBC article, she converted to Islam when she was impressed by the kindness of some Muslim neighbours. Kind of losing the plot to go from that to radical violent terrorism, isn't it?
