It's set during Season 3 of SG-1. It's going to be written as something of a one-off story, though there will be room left for a sequel, or even multiple sequels, depending on how well it is received.
As for the story itself, I'm intending to try and write it in the sort of 'style' of a two-part story. Like this was a novelization of sorts of an episode of SG-1. As for length, I'm still working on that, but I can't imagine more than a little over a half-dozen chapters at most in the ballpark of 3,000 to 5,000 words each. The story takes place on the world of
Terella, which was seen in the season 2 episode '
Need'.
As for the story itself, I'd rather not spoil it here. The story
is a crossover, though that should not be an issue, as I'm fairly confident in my knowledge of the crossover elements and a general notion of how well their tech will match up with the Stargate-verse. So you shouldn't have to worry about that too much. I
will say that we're not talking about a massive armada, planet or an entire faction getting IOST'd over. Though
they aren't to be taken lightly.
