I doubt even the armed forces will be exempt from having to push WOKE-shit

EVERY single person in the Armed Forces will be made to KNEEL against their will to BLM and will have new commanding officers who got the position via being a "minority"
If anyone seriously ever proposed that and got it passed...well I have feeling that the all enemies foreign and domestic part of the armed services oath will be invoked at which point its military coup time

Yeah, I doubt many people will be able to stand arrogant weirdoes bossing them around

Arrogant weirdoes who haven’t even gone to any military schools, are subpar physically and skill wise and probably will never fight in the frontlines and hinder them with all sorts of weird nonsense

So it has happened. The cops have had enough and are leaving. Good.

Why should they stay? Risk your life to uphold law and order, only to be told you are a monster and that you suck and that you are racist and a brute and blah blah blah. Bullshit. Let's see how they like it when we take away the problematic police like you asked.

Honestly, this all keeps sounding/feeling like the backstory of Starship Troopers

But with notable differences like it being children-to-teenagers making things horrifying

And so it begins. The fire rises. The threads that hold society unravel.

Shout out to this absolute genius solution to the problem:

"Force them to work! Break the unions! There are more willing to work!" Gee how positively liberal of you.

I am tempted to go "And risk getting fired for doing my job? You cant find anyone who isnt a bad cop to do it"

That guy has no idea how hard it is to recruit officers already. The Washington State Patrol has a constant deficit of officers because they can't recruit hard enough to replace retirees and poaching-transfers. Due to regulations on what hoops people have to jump through to qualify to be hired, only a tiny fraction of the population is healthy enough and has a clean enough background to make it.
Then you go and tell them that they are evil and that if they don't do what you tell them to that you will ruin them. Great recruitment message.

I'm actually not at all a fan of the police, I think that they've massively overstepped their bounds on a wide array of issues in the past few decades, but this doesn't seem like something that would work out very well.

This line here is what I thought of whenever radical police reform is considered. It's not so simple to get new police if they're disenfranchised to join and get shit on by the public.

I can guarantee you those same cops in certain cities that are walking off the job will feel guilty as hell if a few days or weeks later they find out some poor innocent person was either murdered or raped in their city who had a restraining order against someone. That is how it always goes. There is always righteous indignation until innocent people who had not part in all of this get hurt. Look I wear a uniform that has some people looking at me with hate in their eyes. But I am not gonna not do my job.

Rename the home of the Infantry? I mean, if you name it after another famous General, but not one from the Civil war sure. Call it Patton or something, but most Army bases are named after Civil war leaders, at least the ones in the South are.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they move the armor school there a few years back.?

We have reserves?

Probably by calling in everyone else they could get away with and giving them overtime....which isn't sustainable since people need sleep and R@R

The guy charging the Atlanta officer with murder charges for defending himself from a felon that stole his taser is now under investigation for apparently using a non-profit to compliment his salary with a extra 140k USD.

Excuse me, but what is your definition of conservatism?
- the belief that man can perfect neither himself nor his society by his own efforts
-rejection of the French Revolution
- skepticism of the Enlightenment
- support for an organic-hierarchical structuring of society
- belief in the acceptability of state intervention in both economic and social life when the common good requires it
- belief that religion ought to guide state leaders in both their actions and the creation of laws
- rejection of laissez-faire capitalism
- traditionalism
- belief in natural law
- skepticism of modernity and its promises
- skepticism of individualism and its promises
- emphasis on small buisnesses and localism over big businesses and economies of scale
- skepticism of free trade
- sympathy for aristocracy and monarchy, though not necessarily a desire to turn any specific country into a monarchy
