Except, no, we really aren’t, so I stand by my assertion that you seek help. I’m not saying this to insult or belittle you: I’m saying it because I myself have been there and it’s really not a healthy place to be.
I'm going to have to disagree with you there, on both counts. I can handle it; if anything, it's people like you I'm worried about. The longer you stay in the denial stage, the worse off you're going to be when you finally move on to anger.

I wasn't talking about just the Nobel Peace Prize. Considering we've lost both the vote, as well as the rule of law, and are currently in the process of losing our freedoms of speech, association, assembly, and right to bear arms; you can't deny that things are looking pretty grim right now.

the good news is that eventally we will have smaller government and the return to tradition you want the bad news is historically speaking thats probally 80 years from now and going by historial cycles were going to have a blood soaked civil wars that kills millions of people. And a level of opression and the democrats using the consitution as toylet paper and so much fuckery. If were lucky we get a nice transition tryant who gets murdered because he didn't kill all the back stabbers. If we are unlucky we get the love child of hitler and Stalin who goes on a murder spree the rest of his life.

Which will be followed by more civil war.

Im sorry but unfortantly human beings have to do litterally everything else first before reluctantly going back to things that work.

Seattle activists try to make martyr out of murderer

On Tuesday night, police responded to reports of gun shots near the Northwest African American Museum in Seattle.

When officers arrived, they heard multiple gun shots before encountering the unidentified man. He shot at police. They returned fire and struck the man. He died at the scene.

When officers searched the area, they found two female victims, both shot. One died on the way to the hospital, the other is in critical condition.

Activists are mad despite knowing the details as reported. They do not seem to believe police should ever use force.

Sade Smith is an activist-lawyer who called the shooting an “extrajudicial killing.” It is not. She argues officers should use rubber bullets or flash bangs and, “shouldn’t just rush & create more risk. That’s their job. They are trained.”

Take notes, Seattle police: Don’t rush into a neighborhood with an active shooter. Carefully construct a plan with flash bangs, even if it takes 10 minutes or so. If a few more women need to be killed to satisfy Smith’s ideological view of policing, so be it.

You can bet that if that woman ever had an active shooter beating down her door, she'd be screaming at the police to get there as soon as possible.

Although to be fair, there are a few fringe lunatics who will literally eat a bullet before recanting on their bizarre ideologies, and there's a certain kind of mad courage to that.

But even if she were that far out there, that's still no excuse for advocating other people die to sate her attempts to deny reality.

Honestly, they should defund the police.

Give the woke, SJW leftists what they want.

And then when those losers start screaming for police when someone's breaking down their door, kindly remind them that they got what they wanted.

Honestly, the whole world needs a strong dose of Freikorps. Clean up all these leftist stormtroopers.

They dont actually want to defund the police. Thats rhetoric. What they want is to become the police. In thier regime a black person assaulting a white person will not merit investigation, but using the wrong pronouns will get you life in prison.

Target is moving it's Headquarters out of Minneapolis to other locations including its newer suburban location within the state.

No mention given to the move being related to the race riots of course... ;)

lol, just put a loaded gun and two spare mags into the hands of any actual citizen older than 16.
It's worked pretty well for Kennessaw so far and their crime rate is ludicrously low compared to the national average.

One thing I'd like to see is a staggered gun safety program that would be in 3-4 grade levels in school, and it would be mandatory for all schools that received Federal funds. I know that would be about as popular with leftists as sex education is with the religious right, but I really do think it's something we ought to have in a country where we're supposed to have a right to keep and bear arms, just to hopefully have fewer accidents.

I've been saying this for years, and the lefties have called me all sorts of names for it.

Nah. IMO way too many parents take the excuse of "eh, they'll learn it at school anyway" to outsource their parenting duties to the state, when in reality that means another stupid hour long movie that gets shown once a year in homeroom, during which their kids either fall asleep or goof off on their phone.

Kids ought to get taught gun safety by their dad/grandpa, failing that get taught it when they seek out firearm ownership for themselves. Are there any shooting ranges that don't offer at least basic safety courses? I haven't been to one that doesn't, at least. Having school gun target practice clubs would be cool, and they could do it there. But I can think of no surer way to kill enthusiasm for guns (or any other subject) than having an overweight gym teacher put on a government-made movie about it and then answering a multiple choice scantron on it.

Also, should all of this be going in the gun rights thread?
