Immigration and multiculturalism news

That's the face of a man who's never faced actual hardship in his life. I find it telling that even the most militant black rights agitators called for separation and/or reparation. They actually faced the wrath of white supremacist institutions and paramilitaries and realized the risks and consequences of the situation. It's one thing to call for genocide when the worst someone will do is complain in all caps on Facebook. It's something else when the target of your proposed genocide is standing ten feet away with a loaded gun and backup.

EDIT: He apparently died a few years ago.
Good riddance.

French mayor in support of new asylum center in seaside town has his house burned down

Initial findings suggest a Molotov cocktail could have started the blaze that left the mayor's house and cars in ruins

The house of a left-wing mayor in France, who supports a controversial plan to establish an asylum center in the small seaside town of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, has been burned down in a suspected arson attack.

Police were called to the residence of Yannick Morez early on Wednesday morning after his home and two vehicles were destroyed in the blaze.

The left-wing mayor, who described the attack as "cowardly and unacceptable," expressed his gratitude to neighbors for alerting him to the fire, which he said could have had "more dramatic consequences."

An initial investigation suggested the fire was not accidental, and Sylvie Canovas-Lagarde, the prosecutor for Saint-Nazaire, confirmed a criminal inquiry was now underway after fire experts ruled the attack to be subject to the "intervention of third parties."

Investigative sources cited by the Ouest France news outlet suggested the fire could have been started by a Molotov cocktail.

A number of public officials from across France expressed their solidarity with the mayor on Wednesday, including David Lisnard, president of the Association of Mayors of France, and Maurice Perrion, president of the Association of Mayors of Loire-Atlantique, who said the incident once again should alert "the public authorities to the urgency to really take into account the threats hanging over the elected representatives of the Republic."

Local MP Julie Laernoes of the progressive ECO party said the attack "echoes the threats from the far right that (Mr. Morez) has been subjected to for months. We condemn these particularly despicable actions against the mayor and his municipal team."

In recent weeks, Saint-Brevin-les-Pins has been deeply divided over a plan to establish an asylum center in the town, which has resulted in mass demonstrations by local residents both in support and against the proposal.

The mayor was a prominent voice in support of a plan to welcome more than 100 migrants to the town of 13,500 by the end of the year.

Last month, two large groups of protesters clashed in the town square. Supporters of the plan held banners in favor of mass immigration, stating, "There are no foreigners on this land," and chanted against the far right.

Opponents to the plans held placards that read: "Yes to controlled immigration, no Mr. Macron, not just anyhow! Not anywhere!" They also chanted in favor of the nationalist Reconquête party founded by Éric Zemmour.

"I am against any increase in migration, and the state does not take the necessary means to prevent migrants from coming by land, by sea," said 82-year-old protester Olivier.

"Our approach is not at all racist but aims, on the contrary, to show, both to the French and to migrants that immigration is harmful to them, as well as us," explained Alain Escada, president of the traditionalist Catholic organization Civitas.
Well. Took them long enough.

Also it'd be a REAL SHAME if all those politicians who sent messages of 'solidarity' had something happen to their homes as well. Just saying.

Wake up. Wake up and smell the ashes.

What always gets me is the sheer brutality of these attacks. I've seen countless fights on film and while most are pretty simple punch-outs, the more gruesome and weird shit is almost always done by these people.
I still remember that time when a bunch of Urban Youths kidnapped and tortured some autistic sperg kid, they didn't even get a hate crime for it despite countless racial slurs being used in the incident.

Probably because they were part of a Protected Group that’s been told they’re Poor Oppressed Victims all their lives. So they both know on some level they won’t get into as much trouble. Or at least have an inflated sense of anger towards the world.

Whiteness Is a Pandemic

I don't have much to add here today that hasn't already been said.

Whiteness is a public health crisis. It shortens life expectancies, it pollutes air, it constricts equilibrium, it devastates forests, it melts ice caps, it sparks (and funds) wars, it flattens dialects, it infests consciousnesses, and it kills people—white people and people who are not white, my mom included. There will be people who die, in 2050, because of white supremacy-induced decisions from 1850.

A line can and should be drawn from the actions of the white supremacist who walked into three Atlanta-area massage parlors yesterday, and allegedly killed eight people—six of whom were of Asian descent—to the relentless anti-Asian rhetoric pollinating national discourse over the past year. The former president, and the party of the former president, can and should be blamed for this and the sudden increase of racist violence against Asian Americans. The line doesn't stop there, though. It extends back 400 years and has tentacles clawing everywhere white supremacy exists here, in America, which is everywhere.

There's a line connecting this act of terror to the 11 people killed at the Tree of Life synagogue in 2018, and the nine people killed at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2015, of course. But also to gentrification, to red-lining, to racial profiling, to gerrymandering, to voter oppression, to mass incarceration, to the war on drugs, to the subprime mortgage crisis, to the vast disparities in both COVID deaths and who receives COVID vaccinations, to how the men and women who stormed the capitol just went home and had dinner with their families afterward. While we were still processing and recovering from what we witnessed, they were already back on their couches, watching Criminal Minds.

White supremacy is a virus that, like other viruses, will not die until there are no bodies left for it to infect. Which means the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it. I guess a vaccine could work, too. But we've had 400 years to develop one, so I won't hold my breath.

Given the sort of individual who's writing this, I suspect his definition of what constitutes 'white supremacy' is alarming broad.

As they've admitted many times, you cannot separate White people from their "whiteness." Therefore, he's advocating for mass murder because it will "save people."

I wonder when people will just stop caring about what the root thinks about what the media thinks when their treated like a collective prava, I see it coming allready.

While it can be fun to watch Ted Cruz's performances, that's all they are in the end; nothing of substance ever results from them. I've long since gotten sick and tired of politicians like him denouncing corruption in front of the cameras, but never doing anything about it.

To be fair, while he has more power than you do. He still does not have power to end corruption. Again we aren't a dictatorship where one person can make sweeping changes to improve things for the better. He needs lots of other people in power to agree with him.

But as far as I can tell, he's never even tried to use what power he does have to fight corruption.
