The problem is, evidence suggests that masks are actually counter-productive, because unless you basically wash them with bleach after each use, you're just stockpiling germs on a moist piece of cloth for you to later push out into the air by exhaling through.

And this is before you get into government over-reach on the issue and social consequences.

That's why if everyone wore them everybody would be safer. Yeah, I understand that forcing people to wear mask is government overreach, but that's not what I am complaining about here, what I am complaining about is the lazy individuals who could wear mask but don't because 'It's to itchy!' or 'It's to hot!' rather than any scientific proof or evidence and proceed to blame people who do wear mask when they inevitably get ill.

The fact is that by your own omission just now the only risk involving mask is expelling the particles outward and those particle's will only affect those who stand within a specific distance and breath them in because according to the CDC the only way that Covid-19 spreads is through inhalation.

Yeah, and 'a certain distance' is an incredibly vague term. What you exhale as effectively water vapor can be suspended in the air for a bloody long time, and I don't know if you've been paying attention, or if it's different in your area, but 'social distancing' is a bad joke. The majority of people make no serious effort at it, and many don't try at all. Unless you have a mask that actually filters properly, the air you exhale goes somewhere, and so does whatever germs are in it.

Further, nations which have not locked down have shown no worse spread rates than those that have.

At this point, it's all just theatrics that people pretend to make people feel better.

Normally I wouldn't complain about someone doing what they want and if Covid-19 was only a disease transited by physical contact I would endorse any amount of reckless behavior as long as a person knows the risk, because it would be their choice and only your life on the line, here that's different.

My whole take is that the death toll is probably overblown, I have family members who are involved in the medical field, and I’ve been told they cook the books with regards to deaths. Die from a heart condition but test positive? You died of Covid. Test positive then die three months later in a car crash? You died of Covid.

As it is, what is more disturbing to me is the mask requirement. The fact the TPTB engender no significant resistance, and the masses blithely submit to having their lives regulated to the second and controlled via masks and health checks like sheep.

The elite that actually run this world, see the masses as being cattle. And the masses have done little in this crisis to disabuse them of this.

I’ll do an essay post on it later, but it seems the people will submit to anything.

I can confirm about the cooked books. dying WITH covid is being treated the same as dying FROM Covid. 6000-10,000 years of evolution and we desperatly try to scramble back into our caves.

I've been in enough hospital board meetings to know shit like this will happen.

Hospitals are a for profit business. Their number one, over all goal, is to make a profit. That's why they exist. Their main income is elective surgery. The state governments shut down elective surgeries. Then hospitals were offered payouts for covid cases.

So, they take away their main profit generator, and then entice them with covid payouts that don't require testing or auditing.

If you think a board full of execs who know they can get away with this while facing absolutely no repercussions won't do it, I've got a bridge to sell you.
