United States Johnny Depp wins defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard

Arch Dornan

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Quite a reversal from the court case in the UK. What would that judge say in reaction to this?

Justice is very hard to come by, and I think things are going to get worse before they get better but we do have victories from time to time if rare.

It isn't really, all that is needed for justice to be present is for people to act justly. Justice such as this, tends to be harder to find, but justice itself is not rare and it is something you can foster by acting justly in your own life.

I watched a helluva lotta the trial. Some definite highlights are Camille cross examining Heard (both times). She rips her apart, and lawtube was basically calling it the best cross since the OJ Simpson trial.

Highlight from the initial cross:

Camille on the rebuttal cross:

I don't think it will be remembered in ten years much less forever, Amber simply isn't that important.

And perhaps it is for the best, because such people want fame or notoriety even if it is herostratic. So perhaps it is best to ignore or even forget such people, so they do not get what they want most. If we are lucky, she won't even be a footnote in history.

Oh, it will be. Just in a legal sense, this will be taught to law students forever, Camille was that good. All the lawyers on youtube were saying this. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually becomes a movie also. This is the biggest trial since OJ.

there will be tons of documentaries and probably movies about this.

I didn't follow the trial pretty much at all. Had no interest in it.

I watched the highlights posted earlier and holy shit, it was literally like a movie. That lawyer was extremely prepared, extremely good, and let Amber dig her own traps and then pounced at just the right times. If this was a movie I might have even said "there's no way, this is just too scripted, shit like this only happens on TV," but it was real. This was literally like some court drama on TV.

It was impressive. And now I see why people were so entertained by this, because that was one HELL of a smackdown.

This will be remembered for a long time just for the entertainment value. This will absolutely be milked with movies and documentaries.
