I mean, I know about this, but this still isn't child services taking the kid, which is what I was talking about. Obviously public schools are toxic as fuck.

The entire body of the article is gone as I'm not a member, and this probably means he lost custody to his ex wife (as it just specifies the father). Again, I'm looking for child services taking the kid, not a custody dispute.

The Texas thing is basically a ban on medical procedures or hormone treatments for children, as it's been determined children are not mature enough to consent to any such thing, and so anyone facilitating that is abusing them.

It's essentially the same principle as the Keira Bell case from the UK.

Yeah, so this happened.

I wish I was surprised, but one of the long term substitute teachers I had in 6th grade in Denver Public Schools looked at porn on his school computer, and some of the kids, me included, ended up finding an open porn browser on his school computer one day, while he was in the bathroom or something. Think it was actually the first time I saw porn, now that I think about it again. It only really occurred to me that the dude was likely a pedo a lot later, and the school/principle/district never seemed to have addressed the issue.

Sex ed should not be something taught till Middle School, at the earliest, and this shit only enables pedo's like that teacher I dealt with.
