Looking for suggestions on a build

My PC system is looking increasingly creaky.

CPU is a i5-4590 3.3ghz quad core
GPU is a 4gb GTX 760

I can't remember the motherboard model, but RAM is 8gb, and OS is Windows 7

I have a DVD-RW.

I have a local computer shop that has some systems, reconditioned.

Some of these are blatantly unsuitable, namely the HP's at the top and the two Lenovos at the bottom. I want something that will last a while but I don't want to spend vast amounts of money. Would it be advisable to hold on and see if the GPU prices dip a bit. Is there anything there that stands out.

One concern is that a lot of them seem to have no optical drive, but that's solvable, also the storage on some seems to be rather low, many seeming to have on average a 1tb drive which with the way things are going doesn't seem to be much. I suppose it might be possible to hook up some of the drives from my present system.

I play games like the BF and COD series, RPG's, other FPS's, point and clicks (i know adventures arent system intensive in general), more open world games like the Saints Row, GTA, Red Dead Redemption type games and others..

Another thing is that well, its Windows 7, more stuff is coming out that needs 10. I'm finding even older games like Wolfenstein II:New Colossus and Battlefront 2 (the newer one), are giving me frame rate issues. I don't know if its the graphics card or CPU that is the bottleneck or a combination of the two. A DVD drive would nice to have but isn't expensive and/or can be fitted later.

In the long run the current pricing of GPUs is clearly a bubble that *will* pop, but it's not showing any signs of doing so soon.

The two options seem to be not spend too much, but that means in no time it's likely that I will be in an outdated position again, or spend a bit more than I'd like and get an element of futureproofing. Having owned a PC since 1993 I know there's no such thing as true futureproofing....

It's only the base unit that needs done. My keyboard, mouse and headset are fine. I have a good wired connection as for some reason wifi seems spotty here. It might be because I am right next to a railway with overhead electric cables and I am near the sea which when it is poor weather might cause issues. My monitor is an old HP 2310i, dating back about 10 years old, but it still works fine.

As a result of the C19 shutdown, there's massive international transport issues. And every piece of computer part is made across multiple countries.

Until manufacturing is centralised, or things reopen fully, and some time after that, then, yes, prices are going to be massive, and delivery time will be in the months, not days.

My suggestions are either wait, until things rebalance, could be years, or look for parts that are coming from already centralised setups, most likely China, much as I dislike the Chinese Gov.

(I'm boycotting Chinese goods, hard as that is, for their many, many horror acts.)

Thanks for the opinions, I finally went for this system and upgraded the 2tb HDD to a 3tb. So far so good. I had bought Frostpunk some time ago and my old system just wasn't working well with it, extreme stuttering issues. Someone gifted me Mass Effect Legendary but on my old Windows 7 system it wouldn't work. It's working smooth as glass. I should try Battlefront II and perhaps Wolfenstein II as they were both a bit problematic.
