Did anyone see that new fan made trailer for Bloodsport Redux?

Pretty well made. I liked how they superimposed Jean Claude Van Damme into the Kumite ring and how they took actual interview clips of the more famous participants in the original movie and edited their statements to establish the trailer plot. The clip from the interview with Bolo Yeung especially (who was the main antagonist in Bloodsport) since in that interview he was saying that the legacy of martial arts stars moved from Bruce Lee to Jean Claude Van Damme and then was like... who would be after him? And JCVD was actually sitting next to him trying to look stone faced and totally not smitten. :p

Controversial opinion but I actually do think as martial arts movies goes, especially with the 'tournament' format of martial arts movies that Bloodsport is actually the best of its genre. I know that Enter the Dragon and a billion Chinese/Hong Kong movies are out there with similar formats in the genre but I still think Bloodsport is the finest of the class.

I would be careful about calling a new movie Bloodsport ReDUX though, I'm not exactly sure where Frank Dux is now, but I doubt his CIA duties are keeping him so busy that he can't sue anyones ass for making another too realistic movie regarding his true exploits.

The time when I realized Sammo Hung and Cynthia Rothrock shared the screen, and a well choreographed fight, with each other in a Martial Arts movie.

Never heard of The Millionaires Express which is described as a 1986 Hong Kong Martial Arts Western film. Cythnia Rothrock is mostly famous as a meme now despite having a fairly noteworthy career in late 80's and early 90's American Karate films (when that was a craze) but had actually established herself as a Martial Arts film star earlier in the 80's by starring in Hong Kong martial arts films. In the fight against Sammo Hung here, she even has the bandanna... and is channeling her being the inspiration of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat pretty hard.

Anyways new film to add to the list.

So nice to see a straight to video (streaming) release called Accident Man which probably had three of the most famous martial arts actions stars in Western movies today all fighting each other.

Literally Scott Adkins of Undisputed (sequel) fame fighting off against Michael Jai White and Ray Park at the same time in a four minute long fight scene. 🤗

Accident Man is actually meant to be an action comedy type of film. It was entertaining. I wouldn't say the humor always hit (they aren't comedians after all and I don't think any comedy writers were really involved) but it was amusing enough. And some of the situational comedy worked out nicely. Plus there are some really impressive fight scenes since Scott Adkins gets his martial arts acting buddies to show up in these flicks.

Also the movie has a bit of a British tone, faintly reminiscent of those early Guy Ritchie gangster/crime movies.

...watch that is.

The Mulan live action remake was so bad it should've been considered a hate crime. Also reminds me that while we're talking about martial arts comedies, Kung Fu Hustle was pretty top notch entertainment.

Master Ken here, from Enter the Dojo, demonstrating his superior grappling skills... by pointing out just how utterly useless all grappling, especially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, actually is.

My favorite video so far is how some McDojo master named Charise Alexandria tried to show off her 'Mothers Milk' Smother Submission.

Which isn't sarcasm btw as you can see below,

Master Ken tortures this twink Grappler named Jordan some more in another video with some excellent face sitting...

This all sounds far less lewd then it actually is.

Anyways... remember to Restomp the Groin guys. There's over a hundred ways to do it.

The classic video.

The Last Kumite.
Someone managed to get some older martial arts stars in a lower budget indie martial arts film with a pretty strong 80's action movie vibe.

The biggest inspiration for this film clearly coming from Bloodsport of course.
