If anything, I’d say this is even worse!

At least with “Hate speech isn’t free speech!”, you get what the message is. (Even though, yes, a good many activists tend use it as a dog-whistle calling for the suppression of ideas they simply don’t like.)

With this, it makes no sense at all, as free speech is literally a necessary condition to have freedom in the first place — just like fair, non-rigged elections are needed for democracy, basic respect for your people is needed for human rights to flourish, and so on. Not that the people who blare the loudest about them recognize that, anyway, but still.

Although honestly, I can't really tell if Privatize Everthing is a parody account or just that stupid. I tend to strongly lean parody but it's not easy to tell with AnCaps and he really never breaks character if it's parody. Still it's hard to think posts like this one aren't tongue in cheek:

I noted Nazism because I have had a few people try to promote Nazism on my subreddit (you'd be surprised by how many people believe Nazism is truly a far-right reactionary ideology). I never had any issue with tankies going all MarxPromo, hence why I didn't mention it. But if they did try it, they would get their posts deleted as well.

Like the NYT article about how you should give up on thinking through things and instead just google, click on the first result and accept it as gospel.
