Head over heels in love :)
For anyone who does scale models, this is my first ever figure. It's a 1/16th scale "King of the Night" figure (title altered for copyright reasons), by the Ukrainian company ICM. Fit has some issues in place but I think it came out pretty well. The face is a bit whiter than reality due to the lighting. This was very much an experiment for me as I'd never done figures before and it was a case of seeing what looked right.

Is that AT-ST the Bandai one? If so, I've got that one to do.

This is my stash

That's incredible, both in general and as a first attempt. And as paint job that includes a lot of white.

Ukrainian company ICM

Huh. That's kinda strange, usually all the "blatantly obvious copy of thing from someone else's IP" model companies are based in Russia or Poland, Ukraine's a new one.

I should have expected that really

Yeah it's Bandai 1/48, which works out really well with the new Star Wars Legion wargame figures. Almost exactly the same scale, so you can acquire a bunch of infantry and other vehicles to support it

Impressive stash also, you could open a shop :D I'd have that Stardestroyer and the Starfury :)

Also, while we're talking about model kits, does anyone know why they almost always have artwork of the subject on the box instead of a picture of the model? I've always hated that they do that, it's like...I know what an F6F looks like, that's why I want a model of one. Why don't you show me what your F6F looks like, so I can decide if I want to buy it?

That was a thing with Airfix models in the late 80s to mid 90s, I think it was a US regulation at the time meant you had to have a photo, my old Lindberg Sabre is the same.

Addition, my Carrier with some additional detailing. Gun turret barrels are the old Citadel Boltgun metal, some hull detail, flight deck markings.

Not sure if it quite fits, but I just finished repainting and basing one of those old wizkids mechwarrior figures. Ended up being a much tougher job because the orginal paint would not come off and I had to careful prime and paint atop it instead. The end result worked out quite well, though.

I've still got a bunch of old MWDA figures sitting around gathering dust. Some of 'em are pretty derpy, but this makes me want to give them a look and see what I can do with them.
