So I'm rewriting Circular Godhood with some improvements.

At the moment, I'm looking for suggestions for 'verses to travel to in the beginning. I have a current plan but one or two more wouldn't hurt (especially if they have easily acquired shinnies).

Da Rulz:
1) No higher powers, this includes (but is not limited to) deities, God, god like aliens, supremely powerful aliens.
2) Magic should be as limited to non existent as possible.
3) No environmental risks to a baseline human (or at most ones that can be mitigated by reasonable available real life tech).
4) No top tier precogs or the like.

Basically, I'm looking for 'verses where the traveler can pop in, acquire whatever, and pop out with essentially zero risk and a total duration in the 'verse of a few minutes (hours in a particularly risk free verse with good loot).

If anyone knows a 'verse with good life sciences or chemical analysis & replication skills, that would be nice. But remember the rules. I'm looking for a verse to analyze, replicate, and fix NZT-48 (from Limitless); I have one in mind but something better would always be nice.

For reference, things like this Fallout 3 vault would be nice. Where the character can just pop in before the vault is unlocked (probably wearing a sealed environment suit just to be safe) and grab some nice stuff.

Dune universe
BattleTech universe
System Shock 1&2
And where should the character appear? And what should he be after?

I mean the Helm Memory Core is on the list of things to yoink at some point, but that isn't a first arc kind of thing. It requires at least some understanding of BattleTech computer systems, or at least some more advanced than baseline real world earth knowledge/capabilities to grab anything from it with any kind of rapidity.

As for System Shock; no places with insane, hostile, AI's. Those aren't where you want to steal advanced technology that you don't understand from.

You can travel to SS universe in the time frame before Shodan has her restrictions removed. Perhaps nabbing the nanite replicator, but you would need a forklift or exoskeleton to do that, maybe steal a battlearmor/work exoskeleton from BattleTech or a Heavy Gear.
