As I brought up a few months ago, I've been writing a series of novels for Daniel Gibbs' "Echoes of War" setting, depicting a crew of independent spacers operating in the neutral systems outside of the war covered in the main series.

Well, as of today, the first book is now available on Amazon for Kindle download.

"Breach of Peace" will also have a paperback edition, although we're a week or so from that being available. The good news is that the bits-and-bytes version is only $0.99!

I hope everyone will give it a try and that I've made the characters and places interesting enough to get you to come back for the other books. :)

(Yeah, I'm kinda not very good at promotional stuff, I'm afraid...)🤨

Oh I need a Kindle... This may take more then a few moments. :p

As an extra request, would anyone who's read the book mind posting a rating at least, if not a review, on Amazon?

Bought both.

Read both.

Waiting for the next one.

I have spoken.

It is the way.

((And now Steve is going to kill me))

((Why are you still reading this?))

((Seriously, do you think I'm going to write something profound?))

((LBWEBS?))

((FUUUUUUUSSSSSOOOOOOO?))

((Why are you still here?))

((C'mon, you have to have something better to do))

((Go outside))

((Sniff a flower))

((Play in the snow))

((Call Steve the Pronmeister))

((You can do it!))

((But you are still reading this))

((I don't know why))

((But you are))

((Do you expect something profound?))

((Or are you just waiting to see how long I can keep this up?))

((Seriously, go outside))

((Get some fresh air))

((Eat some escargot))

((It's surprisingly good))

((Especially Italian style))

((The tiny forks are cool too))

((Go on, I'm not stopping you))

((Leave already))

((...))

((Why are you still here reading this after all this time))

((Do you think I'll do something funny?))

((Do I look like Mel Brooks?))

((I don't even know how to shoot flaming arrows from a bow))

((And I don't speak Yiddish))

((Except on Tuesdays))

((Today isn't Tuesday, is it?))

((...))

((Let me guess, you are still here.))

((Not like I'm going to leave a review))

((I never do that))

((I'm a bad reader))

((So shoo, go to the zoo))

((I like zoos))

((Especially the Arizona Trail))

((We have condors))

((They are big))

((And like people too much))

((Not in that way))

((That would be lewd))

((Condors are not for lewding))

((You sick and twisted person))

((You could go to the Butterfly sanctuary))

((It's peaceful))

((And full of butterflies))

((They'll land on you if you sit still))

((And there's a chocolate shop there))

((I like chocolate))

((Chocolate is good))

((So go get some chocolate))

((Shoo))

((Why are you wasting time reading this??))

((You could go to a museum))

((We have some nice ones))

((Or you could go see a play))

((I like musicals))

((Still here? WHY?))

((You thought I'd put something relevant here, didn't you?))

((You don't know me very well))

You really need to read Book One and Two together in one go, they are obviously intended as one greater work and flow together far better than as two separate stand alone works. The battle scenes are well written, the characters are fairly interesting and not cardboard cutouts, and the story takes quite a few nice twists and turns.

So of I have never read the Echo of War books how much will I miss if I read your books?

Basically do I need to read the other ones frist or can your books stand alone.

I don't think you'll miss much, I tried to use dialogue and description to establish how this universe works without relying on someone reading the main series to understand it.

I've read all of them.

They are good.

Not as good as some things I've read.

Better than other things I've read.

In the top tier of things I've read.

And I'm doing it again.

I'm not going to give a full review of the later books

Seriously, I'm not.

I'm terrible, I know.

But I don't do spoilers.

Even though Snape totally killed Dumbledore.

Why are you still reading?

I'm not going to say anything useful.

I rarely do.

Because that's boring.

And I don't like being boring

Or bored

So why are you still reading this?

It's not interesting to read

Really

It's just words on a screen

You could go look at airplanes

At a museum

I like museums

You should like museums

But then again you shouldn't be reading this

Steve is going to kill me again

But I'll get better

Now shoo, read something else

Not this

You could go eat a cheeseburger

Or a bratwurst

I like bratwurst

With sauerkraut

And spaetzle

Now I'm hungry

But you are still reading this

Stop

You are keeping me from my beer

Good German beer

Not American piss water

Reading this is keeping me from my beer

So stop it

Go outside

Take a walk

Parks are nice for that

So are zoos

And aquariums

There's a big gator at our aquarium

Bigger than Steve

Shocking, I know

And penguins

They poop on your shoes

Why are you still reading this?

Why am I still writing this?

Fuuuussssooooo?

LBWEBS?

Still reading this? Why?
