While it's true that the Democrat Party have been treasonously sympathetic in both attitude and deed towards the socialists at least since FDR, with the exception of JFK, don't confuse our traitors for the totality of America.

I do not talk about common people or military,but ruling elites.With exception of Reagan presidency they ALWAYS supported soviets.
What Reagan did,was start military building,stop technology leaks for soviets and made oil cheap.After 6 years,they agree to surrender.
Every other president could do the same.

Not mention,that in 1946 when USA officially sold us to soviets,they have mass produced A bombs with B.29 capable of reachinh most of soviet territory.Soviets had army of slaves,which once/1941/ mass surrender when strong enemy attacked.

USA could defeat soviets easily till 1951,when they learned how made A bombs for their B.29 copy.

Till 1962 soviets had no means to deliver bombs to USA.Yet - USA not only do not destroyed country which officially wanted to conqer entire world including USA,but supported it economically.

That's a fair accusation. The way you chose your words in your prior post though, didn't say 'the ruling elite' or any such thing, it said 'The USA.'

I still have yet to be convinced the 'red scare' was a bad thing.

Given the number of communist spies and traitors who were in and working for the government, I still don't get why I'm supposed to believe it was paranoia or the like, rather than a very real threat and problem, that caused the 'red scare.'

Of course, the political left has been doing revisionist history since the moment the thing began.

Except history has shown McCarthy's fears were justified and that he probably underestimated the issues with commies moving into/sneaking into US institutions/media groups/academia, and that Ike was too naive or too optimistic about the US populace.

McCarthy, Patton, and McArthur were all right about the commies and how to handle them, which is why they were removed from power, or just killed in an 'accident' like Patton.

Nukes would have allowed Mac to deal with Mao, and saved us decades of problems with the CCP (likely including the Wu Flu).

But Truman wasn't willing to go that far to deal with the CCP threat, and we are all paying for it now.
