I don't think its fair to compare him to his mother, Liz was a strait up badass. Thats always going to be hard to match.
She was an ultimate BADASS with swag. Speaking of which: I watched the 2015 movie 'A Royal Night Out' yesterday afternoon on Showtime Family starring Sarah Gadon and Bel Powley, who portrayed Elizabeth and Margaret respectively

King Charles III has huge shoes to fill.

Northern Ireland is majority Catholic while BREXIT is still be sorting out, Scotland is getting restless again, mass ethnic tensions in the streets and a once in a generation geopolitical storm with massive economic ramifications for the United Kingdom is occurring.

He's going to be lucky to remain King of England and Wales, at the rate things are going.

Is that the one where Elizabeth goes chasing after Margaret and gets an AWOL Corpral as a bodyguard/guide during the VE celebration?

If it is, I've seen it.

EDIT: If I'm remebering it right the blue-collar AWOL Corpral has absolutelty no clue that the naive and very upper class gal trying to find her wayward younger sister is actually Princess Elizabeth looking for Princess Margaret until she tells him who she is.

I've heard about Northern Ireland itching to be an independent country

Memo to King Charles III: Good luck buddy because you'll need it.

I've heard that Prince Andrew, Duke Harry and Dutchess Meghan of Sussex got knocked down even further as King Charles III is cleaning house.
From what I understand Henry and Meghan wouldn't complain if they were kicked down to commoner because they've already walked away from "The Firm" ... as the tabloids call it.

Meanwhile the supporters of the tr00 King are sharpening their knives to bring down the Usurper and Heresiarch and place Francis II on the Throne.

The days of the so-called Charles III are numbered.

The fact that he's gay could make a restoration more difficult, no? I mean, aren't monarchists generally traditionalists and thus more inclined to be homophobic than the rest of the population is?

Though once he dies, that problem won't exist since his claim will pass on to either his straight younger brother or, if he outlives him, to his straight niece (younger brother's eldest daughter).

42.3%, according to the 2021 Census, is a questionable defintion of the term majority.
(And its barely half a percent change from the 2011 Census)

A plurality of over 45% then:

Results from the 2021 census released on Thursday showed that 45.7% of inhabitants are Catholic or from a Catholic background compared with 43.48% from Protestant or other Christian backgrounds. The 2011 census figures were 45% Catholic and 48% Protestant. Neither bloc is a majority.
