Russia has another oopsie

Tiamat

I've seen the future...
Seems some self-made entrepreneurs, or maybe agents for a foreign service broke into the Russian's IL-80 Airborne Command Post while it was undergoing maintenance. That or they must have mistaken it for a cargo plane carrying vodka.

Well, if the KGB ever find them, those folks will have the pick of the most wretched and high mortality rated forced labor camps that Putin can possibly find.

I still feel like it was China, maybe to try and make their own versions of what ever was stolen and then use it to get ahead of the russians

Speaking of Russian oopsies.

OOPSIE!

At least the ship was decommissioned I suppose, but honestly still... twenty six tons of bronze propeller stolen? C'mon...

Old russian tradition.De custine in his Russia in 1839 wrote, that russian working for tsar always gave less money that people in other countries, becouse their position meant that they should steal some money for themselves, and as much as they do not stealed above their rank, everybody was happy.

A Forty Plus Tweet Long Thread on Russian Corruption, Partially in Relation to the Special Military Operation in Ukraine but Mostly about the Leadup to the Conflict.

It's divided into several sub-threads:

Old Fashioned Grift and Corruptions

The Military Elite and their Profiting

The Mafia and the Military

And General Physical Structure of the Military

i once read book about 1905 war,and Russia lost partially becouse of corruption.I think, that what we have on Ukraine is such war in our times - that is why Moscov do not mobilised - they fear revolution.

Russia had another oopsie. Seems more general incompetence then Ukrainian military action/sabotage though, like most of these incidents even now.

This pipeline starts in Uzbekistan and travels through the Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan before arriving in the Central Russian Oblast of Sverdlosk, exporting gas from Uzbekistan to Russia.

If Russia wasn't corrupt, it wouldn't be so intent on conquering its neighbors. It'd realize that it has everything it needs to be a superpower inside its borders.

It just lacks more people, but thankfully it can easily make more of those if its people actually had the desire to breed more. "Make love, not war!" is the classic slogan. Russian nationalists such as Anatoly Karlin should be out there dating hot women and breeding together with them rather than supporting the Ukraine invasion while also simultaneously simping to their cute little anime waifu Haruhi.
