That was with the unofficial patch and all the other anti-crash and performance enhancing mods.
Oof. Sucks about that. I do still think the story is worth it, however. I remember playing NV a lot more than I do FO4.

No, I've played 4 and New Vegas, and even despite my bias towards 4 because I've been to everywhere there in real life, New Vegas is clearly better. The story of New Vegas is simply excellent, and the DLCs are definitely worth it as well.
Just be glad that Boston got a good game the Appalachian's got less shafted by the decline of the coal industry compared to the insulting mess that was 76.

Oh, yeah, Fallout 76 was the saddest thing I've ever seen. The basic idea was shit (a fallout game without NPC's? Really stupid to start with), and the implementation was somehow worse. Fallout as a franchise might be dead because of it.

Actually, Fallout 76 is doing great, recently got an update that added NPCs and a main quest, and Bethesda just announced that Amazon Prime is making a Fallout TV series.

But hey, don't let facts get in the way of the doom and gloom!

Purchased Star Wars: Fallen Order for 29.99 but of course, it was one penny short of getting the five dollars off... so based off of the excellent feedback in this thread I purchased Bloons Tower Defense 6 as well, or as the cool kids call it, BTD Battles 6 or something. I don't know. I might never play it but at least it's theoretically free anyhow. :p

Mother fucker.

Just bought Watch_Dogs 2 and now they are announcing they're giving it away for free in a few days.

I'm already five hours in so I can't refund.

Fuck.
Look at the bright side you could have been me looking to give Fallout 76 a fair chance and wish to go in blind...

Seriously I got the strategy book, the tricentenial edition and everything else for my main Christmas gift a few years back and only after popping it in did I finally find out the game had no NPCs...

Welp, went and bought a couple more games; the Splinter Cell complete package, Star Control 1 & 2, the Risen franchise package, One Finger Death Punch 2, Hylics, Downwell, Crypt of the NecroDancer, and most importantly Brigador. Master of Orion and Barrier X too, I see.

I would've rather bought Fallout 76 than pay for Watch_Dogs 2 then have them give it away free. There aren't many games I've bought that I wouldn't regret buying if they gave it away free right after, and Watch_Dogs 2 definitely isn't one of them.

Watch_Dogs 2 isn't nearly as good as the first Watch_Dogs imho, though I actually really liked the first Watch_Dogs.

Watch Dogs 2 is politically charged garbage, with a hypocritical protagonist who joins a bunch of terrorists just so he can have his revenge. Then there's the strawmans of various characters that are insinuated to believe in right-wing ideologies.
Capitalism bad, Antifa good, and all that disgusting shit. The game should've ended the moment they turned South Korea dark, with a cutscene of them being hunted down by special forces and the FBI one by one.

Gee, thanks for the fucking spoilers about South Korea, that really makes things better.

In all serious, yes, its clearly meant to fellate a Millennial audience, but I don't really care; I'm playing it almost entirely for the gameplay, and as long as I can break into facilities using a variety of methods ranging from hacking to drones to going in with sniper rifle and shotgun, I'm fine with it. I just which I hadn't paid for it when I could've just gotten it free.

I also wish Watch_Dogs 2 had kept the edgy vigilante / noir-esque atmosphere from Watch_Dogs and had kept the ability to hold all of your weapons at once. I also dislike that Marcus feels much weaker than Aiden in combat.

I apologize. I thought the spoilers of WD2 were no longer spoilers as it has been... some time since the game was published.

I mean, Watch_Dogs 2 wasn't exactly popular for a AAA game. Unless you're actually looking for spoilers, you aren't likely to run into major spoilers for video games, unless you frequent reddits or threads about that game.

The Watch_Dog games are popular enough they keep getting sequels, but not so popular to get quick sequels, and not so popular that they keep much from the previous games.

Though, I am glad that Legion seems to be at least partially heading more towards the direction of Watch_Dogs in terms of tone.

Got Grim Dawn, Warhammer 40K: Gladius and the TitanQuest Bundle. Should be sorted for action RPGing... and we'll see if I ever play Gladius. There's a lot of pricey DLC for Gladius so we'll see if I get invested in it and start shelling out bucks for it in the future.
