The rationale for the Community Pub and its restrictions are simple. The objective here is to create a tight-knit community, in which friendships, fun, and happiness are more important than ideology. The best weapon against the bongos (aka "SJWs") is laughter. If this is the sword which melts the absurdities of their system of belief, the seriousness with which they let their lives be consumed worrying over microaggressions and internalised whatever-phobia, then the shield which protects us from their beliefs is Community. For the most part, these bongos live solitary lives and live without connections and bonds to other humans. Their social organisations are based on performance rituals to indicate their political correctness and their "hobbies" are things based on the gratification of self rather than sharing life with other humans. My hope is that this community we are creating in Elektraspace is a highly effective antidote to this isolation by which people are corrupted, demoralised, depressed, and stressed in the modern world. Part of creating such a community, to me as an Orthodox Filianya, is "Order, Harmony, Respect and Niceness (among a people)", a concept we render to a single word: Thamë, represented by the Janya Sai Thamë (In Japanese this is 和, or wa). I respect the fact that you all do not and never will agree with me with on this--which is well and good. Thus, in the interests of free speech, expression, and belief, this forum has few restrictions overall. But in particular, here in the Community Pub, we are creating a sort of "Virtual Cheers" in Elektraspace where we can be friends to each other and strengthen our bonds as community and friendship, and here, I would like us to observe some concessions to Sai Thamë. Speak about anything and everything you want to here, but here, remember that as a community we are together against a world which would collectively like to silence all of us, and so out of a determination to stand our ground, please come together as friends.
