Never understood the hate for RC and offbrand drinks. Like I can taste the difference, but it still tastes generically like a "cola".

Literally never seen cheerwine, that must be a regional thing.

We always ordered RC cola when we got Little Caeser's pizza. We've had neither in more than a decade. I dunno what to say.

As a child I preferred RC. It's sweeter. As an adult, I prefer Coke or, ideally, GUS. It's less sweet. I havn't seen GUS in a store for nearly five years.

Still, when I was a child, the staple at my Gpa's house was Big Red.

There are some off-brand colas I dislike but I don't remember RC being one of them. It's been a long time since I had one.

It is (or was)

I am seeing it here and there in the north now, but it used to only be in the south.

If you ever see it, I recommend it. If you're a soft drink enjoyer, you'll probably like it. It's pretty damn good.

A US Judge refused to dismiss a complaint made by Amazon against the Trump Administration. Amazon apparently alleged that the Trump Administration politically interfered in a military contract that reportedly cost the company a ten billion dollar deal. The JEDI contract was aimed at making the US Defense Department more 'technologically agile' with four companies originally bidding on the contract in 2017 including Amazon (through Amazon Web Services), Microsoft, Oracle and IBM. Oracle and IBM were eliminated earlier on with Microsoft beating out Amazon Web Services.

AWS alleges their bid would've providing higher service at lower cost to the American taxpayer and alleges Trumps dislike of Amazon then CEO Jeff Bezos was a factor in why the Administration interfered in the contract bidding and awarded it to Microsoft instead. For its part, Microsoft stated the staff at the DoD reviewed the bids in detail thoroughly and that the DoD made a choice that many large corporations make every week.

It's feared that more legal delays will result in the JEDI Contract being cancelled altogether due to the rapid nature of technological progress and the fact the contract was originally offered back in 2017 and already subjected to two lawsuits from Oracle back in 2019.

Again, the DoD chose something that would most likely be easier to adapt
You don't understand. Which is fine, because this isn't your field.

But what I meant was: You could just as easily run microsoft servers on AWS. Azure and AWS vary a bit in how they function, but they do pretty much the same thing: host iinfrastructure.

With these services, what you would normally keep in a data center, is managed by them. You just use their services and spin up whatever servers and whatnot that you need.

It would be just as easy to adapt as azure.

I guess.
Bit with how much Microsoft is being used, they probably gave the DoD a hell of a discount because of that

Agreed. It's highly probable that they offered them some sort of discounted licensing for microsoft products on microsoft services, that Amazon can't afford to offer without big losses.
Oh mist definitely

Well this is lame. I was hoping for a DJT funded social media platform. Not a Donald Trump focused website

I want a well funded alternative to twitter and FB. Not this.

I had my hopes up for nothing it seems.
I'm just wondering why he didn't just move over to one of the already existing alternatives, if this was all he was going to do. Trump really has turned out to be a major disappointment in many ways.
