While spending mid-Dec to mid-Feb in-and-out of an hospital with a recurring bout of acute pancreatitis* an ad pointed me at blockdoku.

It's a time-waster puzzle game offspring of tetris and sudoku. It's also the first phone "What the heck, why not? " free-with-ads game to keep my interest long enough for me to say "Yeah, that's worth five bucks." instead of uninstalling it.

Not going to lie, had a fucking blast with the new Terminator RTS. Watching people on youtube struggle with it is funny because people forget how fucking hard older RTS titles were.

It's a fun one for me, but I already liked Warfare/Syrian warfare so I was used to missile spam and the need to constantly save/load (hello X-COM).

Shockingly non-infantry ATGM kinda suck in Terminator DFD, they miss so often! Infantry ATGM kick ass though, almost guaranteed to hit.

Infantry one is Javelin which is fire and forget, while vehicle TOW 2 ones aren't, if vehicle loses sight of target missile loses lock.

The issue is the vehicle TOW's miss when the target is in plain sight, they missile just 'swerves' away.
It's a balancing decision, but it makes the TOW very very questionable to use when plasma recoilless rifle does as much damage and misses less.

I don't have that problem unless one or both shooter and target move and LoS breaks can happen. Of course smoke will also do it. Also more experienced operator helps make it it.

Oh by plain sight I really mean it, no items interrupting the LOS at all.
But it's interesting you're not having a similar problem, if you watch Rimmy Downunder's gameplay of it he has multiple missiles miss in a row. I've had it happen to me as well, but it's not guaranteed.

Hmm, are you sticking 3-4 star crews in the vehicles with the ATGMs like i do?

Well, the best crews I can at least, vehicles level up pretty slowly.
I might check and see how well the hero units fare with em.
