I tried Chaosbane.
Visually it is pleasing, the audio is nice, but that is about all.
Too linear, clunky controls, overall crappy progression system.

I'd say it is below the 50/100 on metacritic, but it was cheap and I decided to give it a shot since I am very much unfamiliar with Warhammer Fantasy.
Maybe I will go deeper in the WHF lore, but this game was pretty much a waste of 9 Euros and a few hours.

First 95% of the Game:

*Yawn* Doo Dee Doo Dee Doo.... Oh Hmmm... Huh that's Pyramid Head. Hmmm... Yep. That's clunky. Tut...Tut-tut-tut-tut... Yep. Okay. Here we go. Oh... huh... Yep... Yep... Yep... NGL little dated I guess. Thought this game was supposed to be scary or something. It's not bad I guess... hmmm. Doodeedoo... and that's done. I can see ten years ago this game was neat but now? Hummm...Hmmmm. Yep. Yep. Do this. Do that. Go here... blah blah blah. Oh... That was neat. Yeah... how much more... NGL kinda boring to be honest. Are we there yet? Oh Pyramid Heads now. Huh... Sure Okay. What even is going on?

Last 5% of the Game:

OH MY GOSH... THIS GAME IS SO SAD... WHOA... GEEZ! What the hell. Where was this voice acting earlier? It all makes sense now... Whoa... wow. Just wow. 😶😬😳😮😢😲😔

*stares at the screen vacantly internalizing everything as I see the credits scroll*

I just finished the main storyline of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and it was pretty good by all accounts I reserve my final opinion until I finish the DLC missions but I am very impressed.

My main issue is that until the last five or so missions your are heavily focus in this game on air-ground combat unlike my favorite as well as first game in the series I played Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War which had much more squadrons of highly skilled enemies to dogfight against every few missions.

Like I stated though it somewhat fixes itself with the last five missions with several high stress dogfights each more grueling than the last.

I recently downloaded a mod for the Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, called the End of Days. I did play it before, but under a different patch.

Does it work OK on 64bit systems and can you even still buy C&C generals nowadays?
A lot of the old Westwood stuff, like Emperor: Battle for Dune is not around anymore, at least not 100% legally.

Anyway, I decided to try Wofenstein 2: The New Colossus.

Decentish shooter, if it wasn't for the occasional "straight white man bad..." preaching and a few retarded attempts at expectations subversion and novel gameplay it would be a lot more fun.
Level design and graphics and some game mechanics are better than the first reboot Wolfenstein, but there is too much of a story focus, which is of course, meh.
I think weapons upgrades are overall better, too, and the teeth-grindingly slow weaponless sequences are not present, yay.
On the other hand, the map system is meh, there is a deceit-sized sub you need to run around in to do silly chores, and did I mention the SJW nonsense?
Look, I just want to shoot nazis, mkay?
I haven't finished it, obviously, but if you skip the overly-long cinematics it is not half bad.

Catching up with the thread:

Finished Little Hope (a month ago). Not as good as Man of Medan. Suffered the same issues and more.

Finished Control. It just felt okay, honestly. Its a technical marvel, though.

100%'d Ghostwire Tokyo. Great game.

Played Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. Great meme game.

Played Desk Job, Valve's Portal spinoff and test demo for the Steam Deck. Its mostly just a tech demo for the Deck, I wouldn't bother playing it unless you have the Steam Deck.

Played Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. Last Danganronpa game I hadn't played. It was okay I guess. Definitely not as good as the regular Danganronpa games.

Played Say No More! It was kinda funny, I guess.

Played Before Your Eyes. Definitely a great concept & story. Very cinematic experience. The way it works (you blink to control the game) is unique and pushes you to pay more attention and be more engaged.

Finished Umineko Answer Arcs. Excellent VN, one of the best stories I've ever engaged with. 10/10.

Finished both Solasta campaigns, I enjoyed my time there; hopefully they will make more for it.

Started a new Hardspace: Shipbreaker career since they went 1.0 and there won't be any more progress wipes and all three acts are available.

Catching up again:

Finally finished Far Cry 3. Great game.

Finished Red Dead Redemption 2. 90 hours, very long game.

Finished the current season pass of Fall Guys, unlocking all the stuff for it.

Put about 15 hours into Fallout 3 and 20 hours into Persona 4 Golden in the past week. Both really great games.

Playing the HBS Battletech game again, on and off, now in the career mode. Found that one to be a good deal harder than the difficulty during the campaign. Can't even remember how often I've had to restart a mission by now as the AI just keeps throwing enemy lances at you out of the blue. Still, it's battletech so I like it. 😂

Played a match against my cousin last week and decided to start a new ironman career play. So far lost one pilot and my main nearly died and was out for 120 days. Just moving up to a heavy (Orion) and choice of mediums (Enforcer, Centurion, Vindicator, Shadow Hawk, Pheonix Hawk and Wolverine) after unlocking the second bay.

I've been enjoying playing the instant action in mechwarrior 5 and the skirmishes in HBS battletech. setting my lance to random was fun and forced me to adapt to mechs I wouldn't pick like the jaegermech or the assassin. more fun to use than I thought.

After my Battletech campaign saved bugged out with with about a year left on that merc run (they always bug out! I've never been aboe to finish a Battletech 2018 mercenary run because of save bugs, my only real complaint). I've been chilling with a Rimworld colony while I decide what to get in the Summer Sale that I want to play next.

I've gotten back into that recently as well.
It turns out that the Warcaskets from the Vanilla Expanded-Pirates mod disable the same skills that are already disabled for battle droids form the Andoids race mod.
