-World War II
-Korean War
-Vietnam War
-Gulf War
-Afghanistan War
-Iraq War

My own educated guess is this:

-World War II: 2040: Age 112-113
-Korean War: 2045: Age 110
-Vietnam War: 2075: Age 110
-Gulf War: 2085: Age 111-112
-Iraq War: 2105: Age 111-112
-Afghanistan War: 2115: Age 111-112

Vets often don't wish to discuss their personal combat experiences. They aren't pretty.
I mean, this is less combat experience and more what they feel about when those they served with will die around due to age.

And I know plenty that will speak of it.
Combat medics maybe not so much but others sure

There is no telling if and when we'll pass. That's not even something I speculate on.

Well a few of the older shipmates from my units have already passed. Many of them were old Nam Guys and in their late 30s and 40s when I served with them. I am on the young end and I am in my 50s now. So some time before this Century ends I might pass. Or the events of the Book of Revelations happens. Whichever one first.

Well, this isn't a morbid and weird discussion, no sir...

Hopefully at some point in the next 50 or so years we will crack stem cell therapies and telomeres and we won't need to die anymore.

Same thing for my family: both sides served in the US Armed Forces respectively: Coast Guard, Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, State Guard, National Guard
