Yes, it does include Russia and Armenia, they are part of the Western world. I’m not sure what “coloured segregation” or the Russians’ or Armenians’ opinion of it, what ever you even mean, has to do with anything.

I’m pretty sure France won’t let you claim benefits for more than one wife they only allow people even Muslims to marry one woman. The Muslims can call the other women they live with wives but the state and France’s people don’t recognize it. No, Polygamy is still a thing in the no go zone (tough less so than before), mostly because Police doesn’t go there, and the woman can still claim single mothers benefits, they don’t need to be married in the eyes of the states to get state gibs in some way, benefits are more about children then wife, it’s an equation of dependents/salaries in the household.
Muslim don’t really recognize the authority of the state in many matters. Tough nowadays I guess it’s not just them.

Western Civilization ~ civilizations made from (Western) Roman Legacy, German Blood, and Catholic Tradition (in different ratios and amounts). Another good rough border would be the hajnal line.

Russia and much of Eastern Europe are Byzantine Legacy, Slavic Blood, and Orthodox Tradition. Also mostly east of the hajnal line. So not western but close cousins. Poland is borderline, by this definition.

I am not using "western" to mean "good" or "civilized" here, though. I don't intend to assert that western civilization is superior to eastern european, just acknowledge that we're coming from slightly different but closely related sources.

Western civilization is pretty much defined as mostly Western and Northern Europe, Australia and New Zealand, North America (Canada and the United States).

Grey areas are Israel (due to political, social, and cultural ties), Japan (despite being an Asian country, American culture prevails heavily there, as does political and military alliances), and Eastern Europe (until recently, they were Russian/Eastern Bloc, but that's slowly been changing thanks to the EU and the like).

Turkey... That's so dark grey it's bordering black. While in NATO and considered part of Europe geo-politically, it's history and culture have been heavily mixed with the Middle-Eastern/Islamic culture, despite it's Eastern Roman heritage.

I wouldn't call Turkey Western, despite having some flavours of the West in its DNA.
