Although no new design was issued this year some may have been destroyed based on early fears of the kung pao cough sticking to paper money.
I could definitely see this being the case. Really, the amounted of money printed barely matters at all. I mean, unless you collect money, you probably don't care if it is from 2014 or 2020. For this to be at all informative, you'd have to look at M0, which is the amount of physical money that exists, and even that barely matters. Your value in M0 is literally the cash you have on hand or in your house/safety deposit box. No bank accounts allowed. M2 is closer to what matters, which takes into account most banking people do. For inflation, the Fed generally tracks MZM, which is similar to M2.

Yeah in February there were articles about that and China was doing just that. I am a currency collector but I haven’t noted it, and there aren’t any changes scheduled for the money, till the normal cycle of it ends in 2025. Since the proposed redesign didn’t happen. Given the rise of central bank digital currency it is more likely physical cash isn’t going to be around much more. Since without it they can actually use negative interest rates.

Hilariously one of those got torn down and replaced with a cross by some dudes chanting christ is king. They also said and I quote here "Christ is king in this country. We don’t want illegal aliens from Mexico or outer space. So let’s tear this bitch down, " so the media promptly called them racist. I wonder how long this one will last.
I would have gone with "insane" personally, but the media are like Pokemon at this point.

Eh I'd have gone with too much free time on their hands personally. I can definitely see a bunch of teens I used to know getting together and deciding to tear down a monolith for shits and giggles.

He's not insane for tearing it down; that just makes him a jerk. Well, that and the fact that he apparently has no idea that this country is a republic that has freedom of religion; we don't have kings here. No; he's insane for thinking it was actually erected by space aliens.

I don't think anyone, even the people who tore it down, seriously thinks it was erected by aliens. However the common joke is that it was erected by aliens ergo if you're tearing it down you're going to joke that you're tearing down something erected by aliens and because let's face it there's no way you're going to make snappy lines with "monolith some weirdo erected", that shit does not flow off the tongue anywhere near as well.

Please god I hope this is NOT what they’re suggesting it might be. Guess we’ll see what LE finds out if anything.

The same Law Enforcement that let antifa riot, burn and loot for months on end?

Im saying to not go off on a hair trigger without at least a proper investigation first. I really do not want this to be what some are already claiming or suggesting it is, for precisely the reason what it might mean if it is what they say it is. Infernos always start with a single spark, unless god forbid we already have crossed the rubicon.

Fair enough. The incident seems serious enough to warrant a real investigation.

I hope you understand why people lost some faith in the law enforcement though.

I don’t blame rank and file LE for some of the recent loss of faith, that’s more to do with the political ambitions of certain AGs and other political appointees which I think has already been discussed.

Further building on how it seems many have lost faith in law enforcement.

I hope everyone understands exactly what the implications are if they say they’ve lost faith in law enforcement and are taking matters into their own hands. And i recall not that long ago that supporting law enforcement was supposed to actually be a good thing as they were getting laid siege by ANTIFA and BLM.

And while I appreciate some of the work Tim Poole has done and may have even linked to some of his videos in the past, I would also be leery as he’s as much in the game to stir up shit as some other journos are.

To be fair their argument is law enforcement didn’t actually stop them. Hence why street violence is picking up, its toleration in effect legitimized it. Again I am not a fan of this. However, it is important to see what is happening so you can prepare for yourself.

I understand that..again, look to where LE in those areas where it’s happening is getting their marching orders from, the AGs, chiefs, mayors, etc.

No actually. If you checked through the postings during the summer, you'll find that in fact many here were extremely critical of how law enforcement was ignoring or outright escorting antifa Stormtroopers, while simultaneously having no qualms about arresting people for defending themselves and then making "Just following orders!" excuses.
Some were even predicting how that kind betrayal of those who always used to support law enforcement would eventually bite them in the ass, due to loss of trust and credibility.
Sounds kind prophetic now, doesn't it?
